About Notre Dame Academy
Notre Dame Academy is a Catholic Institution managed by the Patna Notre Dame Sister's Society.
Founded by St. Julie Billiart in France in 1804, the Institute of Notre Dame is marked by the charismatic spirit of St. Julie which is simplicity of vision and joy in communicating to all people the goodness of God, especially to those who are deprived or in any need.
Notre Dame has established foundations throughout the world. The First Notre Dame School in India was founded in Jamalpur, India, in 1950. In Patna, Notre Dame Academy was founded in 1960. Today, Notre Dame Institutions are founded in the states of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, West Bengal, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Jammu & Kashmir and Kerala.
