"To Make the Best Better"

About our club....

The North Osage 4-H club holds its monthly meetings the first Monday of every month at 7 pm at the Public Library in Overbrook. During the months of May, June, July & August we traditionally hold our meetings at the Overbrook fairgrounds.

To be a member of 4-H you must be between the ages of 7 and 19 years old. There are no dues or costs to join 4-H. If you are 5 and 6 years old you can join the club as a cloverbud. This will allow you to participate in most club events! The new 4-H year begins in October which is the ideal time to join if you are interested. However, you can join anytime during the year.

Our club takes great pride in the community service and involvement of its members. Another unique aspect of being a 4-H'er in Osage County is that we have three county fairs (Melvern, Osage City, and Overbrook). So the 4-H'ers in Osage County have the chance to exhibit at three different fairs if they choose.

If you are interested in becoming a member of 4-H and would like more information please contact Aaron & Maggie Mead 785-665-3108/221-7322 or Curtis & Kim Stahel 665-7544/224-5067.
