State-wide Livestock Judging Competition

If your 4-H'er is interested in judging livestock, there is a competition at the Expocenter on Mar. 5th. Registration begins at noon. Cost is $1 per judger...and you can have up to 4 members on a team or you can judge individually.

CWF Rummage Sale!

To raise money for their CWF trip, kids going on the next CWF trip are having a rummage sale at the American Legion in Overbrook on Feb. 26th and 27th. If you have any items you would like to donate to be sold they would appreciate your support! Our club has several kids raising $ to go on this trip: Katherine & Patrick Moore, Madison & Mallory Koger, and Kyle Garrison.

Weigh In Dates....

Please mark your calendar with these important weigh in dates....Beef 3/26/11 from 2-4pm Lyndon Vet Clinic; May 1st is the last date to tag/weigh steers; 5/7/11 goat, sheep, swine weigh in and tagging at Osage City Fairgrounds from 9 AM-noon. Last day to tag and weigh goat, sheep and swine is June 15, 2011.

Horse ID's

Horse ID's are due to the extension office by May 1st to show your horse this year. Please know you must also have proof of a current coggins test.
