Noah Edgar Gunter March 23, 1999

GUNTER, Noah Edgar, 88, of Oklahoma City, died March 21, 1999. He was born July 24, 1910, to William M. and Ethel (Lipe) Gunter at Stella, Oklahoma. Noah retired from Tinker AFB after a long distinguished career and was a long-time member of the Broadview Heights Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William (Bill) and Ozil Lee Gunter. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Corinne (Parker) Gunter; brother, Eugene and sister-in-law, Valree Gunter of Fairway, Kansas; sister-in-law, Sarah Gunter of Ft. Worth, Texas; three nieces; two nephews and numerous cousins. Services will be held Wednesday, March 24th at Guardian Midtown Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m.

Gunter, Anna Wallace was born Sept. 24, 1914 to Benjamin and Sarah (Stroup)Garside. She passed away September 14, 1995 at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil C. Gunter; her parents; and her sister, Mary Banks. She is survived by her children, Earnest Gunter of Sacramento, Ca., Sarah Self of OKC, Bobby Ray Gunter of Wayne, Ok., Pat Daniels of Moore, Ok, Elizabeth LaShum of Wynnewood, Ok.; 22 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Capitol Hill Funeral Home Chapel and burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
