The youngest of four boys from my mother. Curtis, Kevin, Keith, and finally me. Music was instilled in us at a really young age. I've had a thing for music for as long as I can remember. We used to rock out in the basement wit my parents after school everyday. It seemed like a punishment at first because it was something that my parents made us do. As I got older, I really started to appreciate what my parents were doin. All through high school, I performed West African drum and dance throughout the school systems, spun at school dances and fooled around writing rhymes wit fellow classmates.
I graduated from Columbus East High School in 1998. Big ups to the c/o 98 Centennial Class. That year in school I linked up with a few friends from my neighborhood high school (Briggs H.S.) and worked on a project with long time friend DJ Universe called Bruin Don Juans. Featured on this project were Da Gladiators, Lost Lynk, Lou-Is, and DJ POS2!
After high school, I went up north to the University of Detroit Mercy where I majored in Architecture. While in school, I found the time to link up wit Element and Antbody. They showed me the city and I was addicted every since.
After a couple years I found myself back in Columbus on point to get my music right. Once I was settle, I dipped in the trees and came out a winner. I started making beats for Productz of Society and begin to fall in love with producing and engineering. I always had the coordination to play the drums, but I never thought about being a producer. In 2001 I founded GlaD8R Productions, Inc. and began my journey. I don't plan on stopping or slowing down anytime soon.
I am currently in the studio working on my sophmore solo project, "Surreal Awdio". I will be handling the production for the most part, but I got a couple guest production appearances from some of the Midwest's dopest underground producers.
I am currently employed at the #1 music retail store in the world, Guitar Center where I am a Certified Pro Audio and Keyboards salesman. If you're a musician or even somewhat like music and you haven't been there, you need to check one of our 160 some odd stores out soon!!!
