guard it with care;
It can end
at any second.
Don't look back;
head for the future.
Don't look down;
keep your head up.
Think with a positive attitude
for it's long over due.
Get your hands out of your pockets,
smiles and walk with pride.
If something's on your mind,
talk to a parent or even a friend.
You might be surprised
they might actually listen.
Take your time and explain
exactly what's going on.
After its out in the open
and your worries are behind,

FRIENDS...
True friends love you
no matter what.
They stand by you
when you are down.
They laugh at you
as you laugh at yourself.
They cry with you
when you are sad.
When they go,
you will know...
There is an emptiness
in your heart.
No one to talk to,
no one to listen to.
But wherever they may be,
you are in their heart,
As they are in yours.

A friend is truthful,
Fun to be around.
A friend listens to my problems
Without preconceptions.
A friend is colorful,
Makes me laugh when I'm down.
A friend does crazy things
To liven up my life.
A friend is always there,
Through hard times and good times.
A friend is there to care,
Always willing to share.
A friend is FOREVER!

Friendship begins with a smile
and will last a long while.
Friendship is trusting one another
no matter what might be the bother.

LIFE
Life is a highway
and can end at any day.
The ride is bumpy at times
but we always seem to keep going.
The hills slow you down,
but, sooner or later,
we'll start the journey down.
This is the journey of LIFE.
No one knows where we're going...
or where we were.
