November 11 - Philadelphias Wonderful Horrible Day
With the exeption of a couple sellouts 5 of the 7 of the crew made it out for an outstanding trip to Philadelphia, some stayed in Harrisburg for some STRANGE reasons but others couldn't help it cause of parental choices. The line-up stood as such, Mark steering the Bubble, Adil rocking shotgun, kevin sprawling out in the midsection, and we can't forget the dinamic duo Jerry and Dan doing what they do in the back. The trip started off bright and early around 8:30 and headed over to the west shore to pick up some camera batteries and whatnot. We then broke the fast at McDonald's and headed out to the turnpike. The Gods of Weather weren't on our side today as the rain beat on the windsheild on and off throughout our trek to philly. Expectations weren't great. As we entered the great city of Philadelphia, the rainfall ruled out any possibilities of street skating. the weather forced us to seek dry shelter under the I 95 bridge at FDR. everything was soaked from drippage and left the mini ramp the only option to skate. Everyone was warming up and having fun pumping on the mini. everyone was hitting ollie to fakies on the steel mini. Adil and Dan were popping frontside 180s and Adil kickflipped to fakie on it. After having our fill of transition we filled up our stomachs down on South Street at the KFC/Taco Bell joint...quite delicious. however, before arriving at the fast food heaven we had a random run-in with Josh Kalis. He seemed to have been relaxing and soaking in the sights of Philadelphia while drinking latees at the local coffee shop. after lunch we stopped at a couple shops on the street and as the weather cleared up we decided to take a trip to burnt cat. those who dared to risk their boards in puddles and soaking ledges decided to skate and film acouple lines. Mark got a couple sick lines as well as dan, but I'm obligated to leave the goodness for the upcoming 7sence Video. we then hit up Temple. we checked out the Philly Hubba and discovered that there was a huge dry venue to skate atop Anderson Hall. This is when everyone shined, there was a set-up off a ledge and over a hefty bike rack that Adil, Dan, and Kevin were killing. Then we discovered a sweet picnic table that we set-up going off the ledge so we could do tricks over the bench, again, everyone was killing it...we'll save it for the video. after that we started skating it like a ledge off a ledge which was pretty fun and everyone got a trick or two on it. after a long session at Temple everyone was satisfied with the skating, and before we knew it the sun was set and we attempted to skate some other spots but it was too dark. On the way back, wild stuff...the would you game and phone calls kept us occupied as well as hilarious intros for our parts. All in all the Philly trip that started very bad with all the rain turned out really good as the crew got mad footy and had a blast. Our Horrible Wonderful trip to Philly is now over but in our upcoming video you can check out the amazing footage we got...FIN

October 28
Ahh Shee...It's been quite a while since the last updation so heres the status on the seven. We made a way up to Philly back on Columbus Day. Me Josh and Adil had a blast. First of all because we skated with Brian Wenning and Tim O'connor and some good shit went down. I kickflipped the 6 at City Hall, Josh Double Flipped the 6 and Adil F/S Half Cab Flipped it. Not alot of filming going on. Some shit at Good Hope. let's up this won't delay the Video. Josh has been hanging out with Sarah, Adil's Sis lately leaving the crew in the dust. Kevin is with his chick most of the time, I have been grounded for the past 18 days, Adil is making trips up to West Chester every Weekend, Dan had sustained and injury to his face and hasn't been skating much, Jerry Mace is hanging with Dan but down to skate now, and Ell has had soccer and hanging with his girl. Hopefully we can get out and film. Veterans Day, November 11, meeting rastar in Philly. Come join us.

September 7
It's about time Elliot can come out and film again. We all went downtown today. Me, Josh, Dan, Elliot, and Jerry. We went to this ledge spot behind Perk's and Bribes where some stuff went down. Dan was killing it with his tech abilities. Kickflip Noseslides, F/S 180 50-50 Switch 180 out, Nollie Noseslides, and a huge Fakie B/S Heelflip Noseslide...first try. We got hyped on Wham! - Jitterbug, filmed an intro of us dancing and hopped in the Bubble to Jerry's house. But wait...Elliot forgot his bag with over 200 dollars worth of camera supplies and his mom and my moms cell phones so they went looking and then we went to Red Seven. Jerry was trying kickflips for an hour and came close but no succes this time. Dan came off strong hit a huge B/S 180 down it, and was trying F/S Flips which he almost hit. I hit the Kickflip twice, oh so Baker Style. Josh hit a Roast Beef down it. That's pretty much it so buy the vid and you will see much more.

September 1
Greetings all. I Know it's been a while but we got some news. We haven't been filming lately due to Elliot's Soccer, but on the other hand, Jerry Mace just bought the Canon GL-1, so hopefully we will be getting footy all the time now. We have been skating parks alot, not much street skating. Now on to the video. Life In The Bubble has been moving along just great. Everyone still needs about 2 minutes of footy still but in the end, I think everyone will enjoy it. Full length parts from all the members plus some slaying action to you know who. It's a mere seven bucks for purely great skating. Email me for a copy of it which we are hoping will be due out Thanksgiving 2002. We are trying to make it the best possible video from locals so pick up a copy and you will like it, I swear.

X GAMES RESULTS
True Street Competition at City Hall 1. Rodil Jr. 2. Wagner Ramos 3. Kyle Berard 4. SENN DOG 5. Dayne Brummet 6. Ricky Oyola 7. Caine "can't kickflip" Gayle 8. Kerry "can only kickflip" Getz 9. Josh Kalis After the street comp, the best trick was quickly started however Rodil Jr. was showing all the Americans what he can truly do on a skateboard. He stomped a switch 180 overcrook to seal the deal among many of his other switch tricks on the "Golden Rail". Also to insure his First Place ranking he turned out a switch 180 heelflip over the Construction Barrel. Overall everyone was killing it besides Kerry and Kalis. Senn was able to lipslide that rail over the wall and the crowd was going bonkers...Senn Dogg-E was definetly a crowd fave. In summary the trip to Philladelphia was amazing, we saw an exellent level of Brazilian skateboarding and got to skate temple with a good majority of the Seven. The trip up was hella fun with the ghetto blaster and Enrique. When we got down there we were greeted by many familiar faces, however the main message to America was that PHILLY HAS LOST ITS LOVE. The butter temple ledge was mad fun and everyone had a blast. then we hit up city hall and saw a little stevie layin it down. We then left the City of Brotherly Love and had an even better ride back with Gay Thuggin Josh...very amusing. Once back in the burg we went to jerry's to show him the video, he was stoked and wants all of you to know that "Life in the Bubble" is of the chains.

August 10, 2002
Finally it was time for the X. Me Adil and Josh woke up around 7 am and headed down to Philly. We got there and met up with Jerry who drove down with his stepdad. We went to City Hall and it was pretty hot. Too bad Caine Gayle can't kickflip on flat. The biggest highlight of the comp wasn't the pros, it was Josh Kalis, who threw a board into the crowd and Jerry THE BEAST got it. He got it signed, the Limited Edition Josh Kalis Love Board, I got a piece of paper signed, and Josh got his Shoes signed. We finally met up with John and Dan and went to temple where we skated for about an hour. Not much skating at all just getting to see all the pros rip it up. And we got to talk to Sal, and we told him we were from Tennessee. It was fun and so much inside jokes on the way home. We'd like to say hi to Professor Wendy's...the best way to top of a meal is with a FROSTY.

I know your all anxiously awaiting the upcoming $even$ence video and we have good news and bad news about this subject. The film is now officially titled "Life in the Bubble" and has an "universal" type theme to it. Full lenght parts from the original seven (Mark Dido, Josh LaBoy, Kevin Dougherty, Dan Lauver, Elliot Perry, Adil Kim, and Jerry Mace). Guest skaters are somewhat sketchy however we are expecting cameos from Nigel Stoner and Tom Reise. The video deadline is in two weeks, August 20, this may be subject to change. The video premiere date will be shortly after that at the home of Jerry Mace or Mark Dido. Sales of the Video will be up by the first day of school, Monday August 26. 7$ each is not a bad deal and you guys are in for a treat. FIN.

RUMORS: I don't know how anybody got the idea that Nigel stoner was on the original 7 of the crew, because he wasn't. However, I as the team manager felt obligated to clear this rumor and officially kick him off to dispell any sort of skateboard status that he never possessed. He's only a friend that hangs out with us. That doesn't mean $even$ence isn't looking for upcoming talent, we hear that jay laboy is doing wonderful things on a skateboard and may be skating with us on the regular, but this is just a rumor. Upcoming events for the sev are the X Games taking place in philly, pretty much everyone is going except for nigel. It should be a blast.
THIS JUST IN
heres the list..not in any particular order, of Nigel Stoner
1. when hes not laughing with a fake deep voice hes saying a lame ass joke that we've heard amillion times
2. we go to a spot and he decides to do primos on flat...fuckin fantastic.
3. can't do anything on flat but kicklip and ollie...also great
4. can't 5050, slappie, or any other basics
5. he has sooo many excuses for not skating...just so he can hangout..but i guess you guys don't see that

b. my ankle hurts from messing up an ollie off a curb.
c. i'm gonna film with this fisheye that doesn't work at all
d. I CAN"T DO ANYTHING...the best excuse of all
6. i say stupid random comments and laugh at them while noone else does i.e. "look at that sprayer" "lets husk corn" "look at that barrel"
7. i say inside jokes at the most inconvenient times and kills the joke completely i.e. josh opens the door normally he says "you dented the shit out of that"

Any comments about these statements place in the Guestbook

Another day at the Lebanon Park. This time it was Me, Adil, Josh, Kevin, and my little brother Jake. We got there at like 8:15 and was getting dark, so we had to hit it up fast. Adil did the typical F/S Flip off that kicker into the Pyramid. Kevin went to the rail and immediately hit the B/S Boardslide, and B/S Krook. He also hit a Noseslide across the Pyramid into Trans. I also hit the noseslide across into trans, and 50-50 the Jersey Barrier. Josh, the Park Ranger, got nutted/assed on the rail at his second attempt but managed to hit it. He hit a 50-50 across the pyramid as well.

July 24, 2002
Today we headed up to the Park in Lebanon. It was pretty phat I must say. The had a pyramid with a ledge going across the whole thing, quarter pipes, bankes, boxes, even a three set with a rail about a foot and a half high going down it. It was a hot park. Anyway sopme highlights. Nigel was trying Nollie Tailslides on the box going across the pyramid and came close but no cigar. I hit a B/S Boardslide on the rail going down the 3 and then went up a Bank and at the top there was a Jersey Barrier and i hit another B/S Boardslide across that into another bank. Dan was ripping it. There was a kicker close to the down part of the pyramid which he hit a F/S 180 into it and then a big B/S 180 off to flat. On the pyramid ledge, he hit a solid 5-0 and then he ollied on top of the ledge and Kickflipped off. On the rail going down the three, he hit a B/S Noseslide, B/S Boardslide, F/S 50-50, F/S Boardslide, and a Krooked Grind. Adil was killing it like usual throwing down solid Kickflips and Nollies over the pyramid. On the Kicker next to the Pyramid, he hit a huge F/S Flip into the bank and Kickflip Shifties. On the rail going down the three he hit B/S 50-50, B/S 5-0, B/S Lipslide, and B/S Smith. It was so much fun so we will probably be going back in the future.

July 22, 2002
It's me Mark again. Today we went to the West Shore to this gap which was pretty big. It was about 5 feet high and 7 feet long. Dan and Adil ollied it and then Dan fell hard on a 180 and Adil hit a perfect kickflip down it. We headed to this school where we put 3 butter smooth benches together for a long grind. I hit a 50-50 acrosss the whole thing. Dan did as well, along with a 50-50 180 out. Adil has to show everyone up and hits a long ass Krook on the whole thing. Then we put two benches across from eachother and Adil did a Ronnie Creager thing where he noseslid the first bench and tailslid the second one. We dropped Dan off at the movies and Nigel hit the eight at the Library twice. It was hot. Then we tried to edit and we decided to do it tomorrow.

Again, it is I...Chauncy Pepperfuck. SevenSence debuted last friday on FOX43's very own Breathe TV. It aired at 2 o'clock....in the morning, but its all good cause DJ Chozen said we were doing big thannngss. On a similar note, lately the sev has been out trying to film for the upcoming full-length film. The title of this film is still a mystery and will remain so until its release. Kevin has been holding it down Chozen style while Elliot has been working hard on getting some solid lines down. Mark got a new job at the local movie theaters, however he's still going big. Dan hasn't been around but there's no question that he'll come through with a good video part. jerry is MIA and Josh is getting crazy on the flats.

July 14, 2002 by: Adil
Hi it's me again, Chaucny Peppertooth. Today Sevensence remained apart. As Kevin wisked off to the beach, Josh had work and Elliot was at his grandparents. However, because we were apart doesn't mean nothing happened. The rumored turmoil that has been going on within the close knit sevensence family is confirmed, however there is nothing we can't do to work out our problems. Hopefully in the next couple days everyones arguments will be solved and the business of video parts can be attended to. So far Sevensence's debut video "Life in the bubble" is coming along greatly and will be ready for your eyes to feast on later during the summer season. Rumors of sales pertaining to the video may be true and costing a mere 7$. FIN

Mark is in the Bahamas right now, so your guest news anchor is me, Chauncy Peppertooth. Today, we once again rounded up the crew consisting of Mark, Adil, Nigel, Kevin, Elliot and Sean. We hit up Seans small box so everyone was techin it up. I saw Kevin hitting B/S and F/S Nosegrinds, Nollie B/S 50-50's, and attempting a couple Nollie Flip Fitties. I hit a B/S Noseblunt and Kickflip Nosegrind. Nigel, Mark and Elliot were all holding it down with solid fifties, slides and manuals. We were then pleseantly surprised that we saw Josh with his new posse at Rite Aid which included Brian Young, Phil Greene, Greg Shreeve, Jared Seaver and Jay LaBoy. Hosh came along for the two wave ambush as we hit Brian, Phil, and Greg with water and pepsi balloons. Then we hit up some fastfood restaurants (Taco bell) where Josh and Kevin were killing the assorted manual pads. Later that evening we went to this ledge on Front Street where Kevin Varial Heeled off it. Then big Nigel finally hit the red 7 solidly three times in a row. Thats when our day went strangely awry and a dorky looking cop yelled at us until we left and headed back to Marks where we watched some footy. FIN.

July 12, 2002
Back again. Not a lot of news but today we went to the Rock Gap once again. It was Adil driving the Bullet along with me, Nigel, and Elliot. We all hit ollies there with easy with maybe an exception for Elliot but its all good. Adil on the other hand hit a Nollie B/S 180 and a B/S Cab, not once, but twice. After the filming I decided to hit the gap that's next to the Gap Adil hit in the Whip Intro over the wall. It's about 2 foot long of rocks, and then a big 4 and a half foot drop. I tried it and hit it a couple times and was having problems of absorbing but I got it. It was hot. Anyway we came back and edited for our Video coming out soon. The Intro will blow you away.

July 5, 2002
HAHA...so much for the torneys. We started the gap torney and we go to the rock gap. Me, Adil, and Kevin hit it up 1st try, and Nigel who never was there before, hit it third try. Soon after, Adil goes for the Nollie B/S 180, which he hits. We head up to this 11 set by Adils house and Adil hit it first try. Then to AAA, where Me, Adil, and Kevin hit up AAA gap first try and Nigel hits it second try. Now finally, up to AMC where again, me, Adil, and Kevin hit the AMC gap first try. Nigel was waiting for another day so he'll be hitting it up again. We head to the High School where we have a tie breaker for the torneys. The gap was 90 inches long and 45 inches high and Adil hit that. It was hot. The torneys are over because the only people doing them are me, Adil, Kevin, and Nigel. Anyway, Adil's car is broken down and I'm in a bit of trouble so we don't know when we'll be heading out next, but good news is that Elliot got his cam fixed so we're hyped.

July 4, 2002
The fireworks were going crazy at another barrier session today. Actually there were no fire works, but some crazy skating ont he barrier. First we had it off a curb at the highschool. I hit the usual, and Elliot hit the B/S Boardslide, and a little run consisting of a 360 Flip and a Krook. Adil was destroyng it. B/S Boardslide, F/S Boardslide, Kickflip F/S Boardslide, B/S Smith...the usual. We then set it off the dock where there was a 2 foot gap and then the barrier stacked up on 3 crates. Adil Kickflipped it, F/S and B/S 180'ed it, and Switch Ollied it. I ollied it, so in your face Adil. We were at Kevins later that day and we continued the Torney. First it was Me and Nigel. I won with S-E-V-E hitting simple tricks such as Fakie Kickflip, B/S Halfcab Flip, and Nollie B/S 180. None the less, Nigel hit a Switch Kickflip, F/S Tail slide on Kevins Box, a B/S Krook, and a Nollie F/S Tailslide. Then it was Adil vs. Kevin to see who battles for 1st or 2nd place. A very well skated game with Kevin, yes Kevin, being victorious. It was close with Kevin holding on with S-E-V-E-N-S-E-N-C, hitting tricks such as Nollie Heel's and nollie Flips, Nollie B/S Noseslide, Switch Heelflip, B/S Tailslide and Nollie F/S Heelflip. Adil played it well though hitting a B/S Smith, B/S Cab, Nollie B/S Flip, Varial Heelflip, Nose Manual on Kevins box, and Nollie F/S 50-50. It was hot. We assumed Dan would beat Jerry because those two are never around anymore, so it was Me vs. Adil for a battle for 3rd and 4th place. I started out a rally hitting easy tricks like B/S Pop Shuv-its, F/S 50-50, Varial Flip, and Hitting Kevins Massive Gap at his house. Adil killed me though only getting a S-E-V-E-N beating me with simple tricks such as a Heelflip, Fakie Kickflip, 36 Flip, and Nollie Flip. It was all good though. Stay tuned for the Gap Torney tomorrow.

July 3, 2002
Alas, The Flip Vid Premier. We all went to Kevins to watch it. I must say, personally, I liked it, although it didn't live up to the hype. If anyone wants copies, email me. Anyway we skated up the barrier at the High School then. We had it on two crates going down the dock. Me and Kevin hit the Boardslides and 50-50's and he hit a crook. We also set it up to do tricks over it. Adil Kickflipped it with ease and Kevin 180'ed it. We all ollied it of course. When Adil came back and we had it on 3 crates and a gap off the dock. I ollied it, Kevin hit a boardslide on it, and Adil hit a boardslide, 50-50, and crooked grinds. We took the shadow out and watched some of Elliot's game and got some Taco Bell and got Josh. We headed to City Island for some fireworks. While we were at it, it was Adil vs. Josh in the tornament. Adil was the victor, but it was close with Adil winning with S-E-V-E-N-S-E-N. Some highlights were Josh with A Twig, Nollie Twig, F/S Cab and 360 Shuvit. Adil, riding with Nigels Shoes, Socks, and Board, hit Switch and Nollie Kickflips, Nollie and Switch Heels, Nollie B/S Flip, Varial Heelflip, And B/S Cab. We met up with some DAN who followed us and was all crazy drunk. John Wolfenhaurs. Anyway we left him and went home.

July 2, 2002
Today we broke in the new Barrier we found. Me and Kevin meet up with Adil, Elliot and Nigel at the pool and we load the Barrier into the Bubble. We go to everyones houses and Elliot ends up staying at his. So it's Me, Nigel, Adil and Kevin now. We head to our secret spot then to AMC where there are some people sucking it up, but they had the VX 1000, or was that us who had it? Anyways we set up the barrier on the ground off a curb and skate away. We all hit 50-50's and B/S Boardslides. Adil hit a F/S Lipslide, B/S 50-50, and a krook and Kevin hit a F/S Lipslide and a krook as well. We leave to go find other curbs and find one by Josh's house. We set it up once again. Me and Nigel kept it simple with B/S Boardslides and F/S 50-50's and I also added in a F/S Lipslide and a 180 over it. Adil and Kevin both hit B/S and F/S Boardslides, F/S Lipslides, B/S and F/S Nosegrinds, and Krook's. Adil also hit a B/S Smith, F/S Boardslide Shuv-it out, and a Kickflip F/S Board. Kevin hit a Switch B/S Boardslide , Nollie F/S Lipslide and a F/S Over Krook. It was a good session considering the two NOB's there who yelled at Nigel. We took Kevin home, and Me, Adil and Nigel hit up Taco Bell where they were out of beef and Adil made a sceen there. We took it to Elliots and hung out there and ate and talked with the Hottie, his sister Caitlin Perry and watched $even$en¢e Presents NOB's and left.

June 30, 2002
The torneys started today. We headed out in the shadow, Me Adil, Elliot and Kevin. We went up to the AMC where Kevin and Elliot duked it out in a game of SEVENSENCE. It was a well played game, lasting 30 minutes. In the end, Kevin was the victor, busting out tricks like Nollie Heels, Nollie F/S 180's, B/S Halfcab Flip, Kickflip B/S 180 and F/S Halfcab Flip. Elliot hit a near perfect Switch F/S Flip and a mighty 360 Flip. Anyway, we got the Bubble then and went swimming, then basically just hung out for the rest of the night.

June 29, 2002
First off, we started the day by watching the OP King Of Skate. Me, Adil, Kevin, and Baby Sean. We skated and made brackets for a tornament to be held soon for the $even$en¢e crew. After that we got Nigel and Dan Hurrey. We went downtown and to the Red Seven where Me and Adil hit it first try, and Kevin hit it third. Nigel was eyeing it up and then he went for it. He had it first try and then hit it second try, hurt ankle and all. We were messing around, ollieing over a barrel on its side. We all ollied it, Adil Kickflipped it and I 180'ed it. Then we went to Zembo Temple where Kevin tried the rail once and tried ollieing the steps but a cop kicked us out. Later tonight, we went and hit a couple balls at the Bumble Bee Driving Range, then got some Italian Ice at Suzies. Hi Nicole. Again, back to AMC where we played a game of Skate and then a gay cop came and took our pictures and Liscense Plate and told us that if we came back, we'd be arrested. So gay. Anyway The tornaments should be held soon so stay tuned.

June 27, 2002
Them rainy days. Ahh shee, well Me, Nigel and Adil hung out a little before 6 and basically just drove around because it rained. Anyway we decided to go to the park. We all got our stuff and headed to Twin Ponds. Adil was flowing, like usual, while Me and Elliot were chillin complaining about how much we hate Park. We didn't care and we still hit some cool shit. Nigel Kickflipped up the Euro Gap and Kickflipped up the other side too. Elliot was rocking the bank, with a Nollie Flip, Nollie Heel, and 360 Flip. I did the usual Boardslide on the flat rail, Kickflip up the biggest pyramid and 50-50ed the box going off the hip of the biggest pyramid. Adil said he didn't do much and I didn't catch a lot, but he hit a Cab Heelflip up the hip of the biggest pyramid. True PJ Ladd style. Possibility for going to More Skates Shop tomorrow and probably some footy, but Elliots cam is broke. So sad.

June 26, 2002
Ok, well I just put up the new site today and I'm still working on it. We had a late night session tonight. It was Me, Kevin, Adil, Elliot, Josh and Nigel. We headed to AMC. First we went to Brightbill and were messing around for a bit. There was a big game of skate where Josh won the first game and Elliot took the second. We went to the AMC gap where we started to try it. Adil hits the ollie first try. Kevin hit it a little later, followed by me. Nigel came so close to hitting it and technically, in Adil's book, he got it. The same thing with Josh. He landed it a few times but didn't ride away as much as he could. Then of course, Adil shows us all up by hitting the Kickflip. It was pretty hot. I, being a retard, attempted the gap in my boxers, which caused me to fall and break open a cut on my shoulder. All in all, it was fun. Also, congrats to Adil for getting flow on DC shoes and apparrel. $even$en¢e has arrived.
