Riley Jordan's debut CD is a cinematic sensual album, reminiscent of Annie Lennox with touches of world percussion and gypsy fire. Riley expresses her eclectic musicality in a burst of texture and rhythm. The first song on the album "Holy Ground" was a finalist in the Australian Songwriters Association Awards. Melbourne's major newspaper "The Age" described her first release as "excellent" and "auspicious". It was album of the week in Inpress Magazine. Riley has often been lauded not only for her intense voice and musicality but for her expansive lyrics. In contrast to her debut CD "Down the Mother's Track", this album is very simply arranged and designed with the feeling of friends confiding in each other.
