01.18.03 -Chris-...Battle of the Bands...
Due to the fact that Battle of the Bands has been postponed to March 14th instead of this thursday, WE WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY!!! It will be held in the Coral PArk High School Auditorium around 7 or 7:30ish i dont know all facts yet but ill post up the time, address and the other bands playing when i find out...
1.11.03 -Chris-...Frank is OUT...
Sad to say but...for those of you who thought Frank was the coolest member of the band probably now vote him the coolest ex-member of the band. unfortunately he is no longer part of FlipThin because he just wasnt happy, it wasnt his music so were in good terms and stuff after i approached him with the news. hes a cool guy and ill keep you guys posted on anything on him, like if he has a new band and stuff ill let you know about that...thats about it for now, and most likely were gonna spend the next month (and a half) trying to rerarrange the songs now that hes gone but well manage also we CANT play battle of the bands, UNFORTUNATELY!!! but were trying really hard to play at some other schools during Feb. because we got midterms now and we REALLY need to pass them...

NO CRUISE, we ended up not going for some reason :-) but im not complaining...YET...anyway, we got together today at dannys, but sorry no pictures this time but we have 2 new songs...one has lyrics and one doesnt..but ill try to put some recordings of at least two of our songs (with guitar, bass, and drums) if we have the time and stuff this week maybe we can add the vocals but i doubt it...well try

ok ok, ive been gone for awhile...many things've happenned...first, danny got his drumset | second, we had band practice and came up with a couple songs (bringing us now up to 5 songs that are definately gonna be on our demo) so we are stoked | third, i puked ALOT | fourth, the studio thing with Sonic temple isnt going down and ive been calling around for some studios but no luck so far (well keep you posted on that) | fifth, i think our band practices arranged for next week are gonna be left to rot due to a cruise half the band will be forced to go on (long story...77 bucks!!!) so yea, well keep you posted on "stuff" OOT ...

I put up some more pictures from the sleepover/band practice. Im gonna divide them into pages cuz it takes too long to upload them on one page. This friday were getting together to arrange our songs because we have so many riffs and lyrics that weve been putting aside for awhile and so i think weve put them aside long enough. So, yea, Friday were gonna assemble a couple songs. I'm getting an acoustic tomorrow!!!! Danny's getting a new drumset....Sonor 6 piece.....Evans hydraulic heads...$150...thats a steal...guess whos getting his old drumset....(me)....

It went down this weekend!!! It was awesome!!! Frank wasnt able to come over cuz he was sick but everyone else slept over the apartment and were up to like midnight playing then the next day we woke up at 8 AM then started jamming some more. We have one more song. Its called "Puppet Master" and well put up the lyrics very soon (as soon as kevin types them up). We have the video, the mp3 and were working on the PowerTab and Tab It file of the song...
11.10.02 -Chris-...good/bad news!!!
I got my 7-string!!!! It's awesome...I havent put it down since i got it. Ive learned a lot on it already and stuff (not that you care)...but anyway i have BAD NEWS :-( ...due to some things that came up...the apartment isnt ours this weekend but its the next weekend...its still gonna happen but ive been looking forward to it and then all of a sudden i have to wait even longer...o well...im patient...dont feel like saying "oot!"

Again, i want to apologize for the lack of updates to the site but nothing has really been going on...UNTIL TWO DAYS AGO!!! My dad came around to letting the band practice at MY house and he said he didnt mind AND THEN Kevin thought up an awesome idea...you see, his house has two efficiencies, in which he just kicked out some people due to some "problems" and basically the apartment is empty and SO....next weekend the apartment is OURS until they want to have people rent it again. Its gonna be soooo cool. IM GETTING MY 7-String IN ONE DAY!!!!...OoT! ^_^

well, first of all...no...im NOT slacking, but on the contrary, am working very hard now on school and stuff which is why i havent been able to update the site for a couple days now. sorry 'bout that. anyway, i got together with cathy and kevin today and we FINALLY decided on a Bassline for "To Fuse With A Turtle" (***NOTE=name WILL be changed as soon as we rerecord it...lol***) and when i finish tabbing it, ill put it up the powertab on the site for you guys to check out. "To Fuse..." isnt one of our "hard" songs but definately is catchy...oot!

He came over today, gave me a riff he had been playing with for awhile and i finished it up. Ahhhh!!! I just had a roach crawl up my leg! My brothers and i tried to kill it with that InstaKill stuff then i kicked it and it cawled up my leg...anyway, i dont think this is my week for recording, every night that ive tried something ALWAYS comes up (story of my life) but im gonna try extremely HARD to do it tomorrow(FRIDAY)...oot!

Hello...just came back from jamming at a friends house (you know who you are Jeebus!) and i got to play his BEAUTIFUL 6-piece Pearl drumset with 2 rides, a nice crash and a little splash cymbal. i think im in love with the drumset. anyway, so yes, i hope to record something tonite, if its good ill post it under the "Media" section...oot!

Im happy to announce the grand opening of our site...it wouldnt have been possible without my very talented friend Rodrigo who is a genious on Photoshop, Flash, etc. (when his site is up ill let you know)...
Anyway, so yea...i had a big scare recently...weight training class...45 lb. dumbbell...finger...PAIN!!!...long story but basically i thought i broke my finger (i didnt though) and i couldnt play guitar for like 3 days...still recooperating...enjoy the site...oot!
