The "family portrait" of a group of penguins I made as a christmas gift for a friend. Perhaps the most unusual of the sculpted figures in this set of galleries; these are entirely edible. They are mostly made of Marzipan, two are painted with chocolate, and the rest of the color is just from carefully applied food coloring.

The prototype for Kilted widgets! (Okay, so since they're all pretty unique, there's no prototype, but...) This widget is a few "Firsts" First widget to stand up on his own. Other Widgets have been hanging or sitting; he is the first to stand. I shall call him Widgeto Habilis...
First widget to "wear" well, anything really, particularly anything actually made of fabric. I'm really quite fond of his tiny sporran. His kilt is made from recycled cotton, and his sporran hangs free on a tiny piece of embroidery thread.

A Shakespearean Widget. Very few photographs from the "shoot" actually worked. The digital camera was acting up terribly. This at least gives a vague idea of what this Hamlet widget looked like.

A dragon of different color... Draconis Aquadomesticans: A species fond of very small bodies of water, especially pools and backyard ponds. These dragons are insectivorous, and thus houses (with their bug-attracting bright lights) are excellent habitats for these small draconids.

Yet another widget. This one created for another friend. Unfortunately, as is the case with many sculptures, he doesn't always photograph well, as he was created to be viewed in the round. Unlike many of my widgets, this one is surprisingly Not multi-media. The leaf upon which he sits is a clay pumpkin leaf, with vein imprints from the real thing. Even the acorns were sculpted.
