Ascendant

The Andromeda Ascendant is a vast ship nearly 1500 meters longs and about half as wide. The Andromeda Ascendant has a crew compliment of 5,000.  Andromeda systems are the sohificated and advanced of the Commonwealth and now three hundred years later is the most powerful and advanced in the universe. The computer systems has an artificial intelligence that can run most of ship alone. The ship's AI has control of androids the move around the ship and maintains the ship and does her wishes. The drones, sensor, fighter, attack can also be controlled the AI or manual at stations. The ship AI has a personality and physical representation which is displayed on screen around the ship, where she can interact with the crew. Though the ship has a holographic imaging system that allows her to be on the ship in an image form. The holographic form has developed a slightly different personality, being less controlled by logic. But the ship avatar, ship made flesh, is a human android that is still in communication with the ship and has some control but is independent from the ship computer, as that it can't be controlled by the ship's AI. The computer system is tactile screens that easily can be accessed and worked. The ships weapons are various with gun batteries mounted around the ship and torpedo tubes under the ship.  The ship is also armed with 40 Nova Bombs with are now all used.  While in battle stations mode fins open out it increases maneuverability and fighting. Also internal ship weapons protect the ship from intruders. The ship bridge is circular with the command station, where Dylan stands, on the left and the first officer station opposite on the right side with weapon stations and other ship stations around the back circling the pilot seat. The pilot seat is centered in the bridge and set to tilt as the pilot navigates. The chair is designed to be response to the movements of the ship. The observation deck on the Andromeda is made into a sort of park on the ship with a view spanning the hull. The observation deck is the site where Dylan and Beka made their agreement and where many diplomatic meeting take place. Dylan prefers the observation deck to think. The arboretum on the Andromeda grows much of the food that the crew, Trance has taken over the arboretum. She has been continuing the gardens, and actually it doing better than ever. Andromeda is a large ship with a variety of room with luxuries, but it is also a ship of war and battle.
