Transworld Snowboarding, which is a part of the three extreme sport titles for video game developer Infogrames, is debuting on the Xbox console. This video game features lightning fast gameplay and stunning graphics. Transworld Snowboarding (TS) is placed in a large group of snowboarding games. Will you pick TS or SSX? The gameplay area of Transworld Snowboarding focuses on being the first one at the bottome of the mountain. Despite this simplistic goal, the obstacles and racers that you face will make this very difficult. As a player, you will face strangely-placed trees that will smack you in the face, rails that you will fall off of, and snow plows taht just happen to be in the way. During the fun and interesting learning curve, (just joking) you can practice your skills and tricks on the half and quater pipes in TS.
Next, Transworld Snowboarding includes 10 pro boarders who have oviously ordinary names that took at most, 5 seconds to think of. Even though their is a huge lack of creativity in this area, this video game has great depth in the track courses. Your player will be able to play in Finland, Switzerland, Canada, Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Japan, and the US. Instead of having levels like many other snowboarding games, you will have to complete objectives in modes like Free-Style, Slope Style, Straight Jump, Pipe, Boarder X, and Career Mode. In addition, hugely copying SSX Tricky's formula, in one of the modes, your main goal is to gain the attention of cameremen by performing the tightest tricks on the course.
The visuals of Transworld Snowboarding are very stunning and detailed. Somehow, this videog game is able to provide great lightning effects and textures a wide variety of snow types. Even the slushiest snow is given some sort of personality in this game. The animation is very accurate as well, and the dynamic of the fall is depended upon your boarder's speed and position on the landing. Also, in TS, the music is customizable, so you can have your own playlist. This is a great feature to elminate that annoying song that seems to play everytime you hit the slopes.
Transworld Snowboarding should be sneaking into the Xbox scene in late February. It is also expected to be out in the fall. Whenever it is, you might want to look for TS, because this is one game you might not want to miss.
