About The Author
My name is Blaze. I was born April 10th, 1968, the same day and year of the peoples uprising and the passing of the civil rights bill.
I write short stories and poetry. I study sociology, anthropology, psychology, metaphysics and religion. I'm fascinated by human behavior. I'm in prison and prison doesn't offer college courses, so I teach myself until the means for a correspondence course is present.
My desire is to work with troubled teens, the elderly or deaf mutes. I'm also teaching myself sign language. I have a profound love for humanity and worry daily about the destructive path the world has taken. Governments have been unable to halt this destructive route, perhaps because they are one of the reasons.
The solution to our ills is for all people of all nations to come together. Our family is universal. Our problems are the same. Only by unity can we take on the tasks mentioned in all holy books. "Care for the earth . . . love each other as we'd love ourselves." Two tasks, so simple!
I sponsor a hungry child in a third world country and seek out ways to have food and clothing sent to the poor in this country. I practice martial arts, love swimming, nature and our awesome star-speckled universe.
I urge you to write to me. Please, sincere responders only. Someone once wrote, "The only way for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing." Start making a difference by reaching out and sharing. We are all kings and queens of the earth. I enjoy writing, friendship, sincerity and truth. The one most honorable thing you will find about me is that I am a loyal friend in good and bad. An eternal friend. Of those there are few.
