As many of you know, Charlie is the wonderful man in my life, whom I am soooo very proud of. We met in 2002 while working at Wal-Mart Pharmacy ~ I, of course, was a tech...he was the intern. I guess fate really does have a way of twisting & turning situations to make sure destiny is not hindered. We were both actually involved at the time, but there was this incredible chemistry from the moment we looked at each other. Of course, neither of us said a word & went on with our lives as normal. Well, our relationships fizzled out AFTER he had headed back to school for his third year. So, I did it...I emailed him to see how he was doing...then, I called, can you believe it?? From then on, we have talked every night I believe. We have went from living 5 hours apart, to 2 minutes apart, & back to 3 hours apart now. BUT, our love has proven just how strong it is. He balances me out...I bounce off of the walls, & he is calm. BUT, he also has that funny side ~ don't ya 'Sweetpea??'...as do I, with my 'floppy chicken!!' I have no doubt in my mind, heart, or soul that he is 'the one'...the one & only man I am suppose to spend the rest of my life with. And I cannot think of anyone better to call my soulmate. Hopefully, we will soon be engaged to be married *if so, there will definitely be pics of the ring on here...lol*
Now, since I am on the subject of him, let me praise him a little on his accomplishments. He graduated with his PharmD from Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy in May 2004 ~ Dr. Charlie Southerland :) From there, he began his career at Wal-Mart Pharmacy...where he is a 'floater.' In other words, he goes where they need him from day to day...but recently, he has been pretty much in the same store, which is a good sign. Maybe, he can get the management position he wants soon. He has also taken over the role of father & husband in a way, on top of son & boyfriend. His dad, Charles, has been placed on active duty with the 278th out of Knoxville. So, he has been away from home for a while, & Charlie being the wonderful man that he is, moved home after graduation to help his mother & two younger brothers. As I said before, he is wonderful & unbelievably unselfish...he is willing to do anything he can to help anyone in need. I am truly blessed to have found such an angel!! I thank God every morning when I wake up & every night before I fall asleep for sending me such a love.
