Hi y'all...my name is Tracey Renee' Branson. I grew up in the small town of Speedwell, TN *most people haven't heard of it...so, don't fret*. I'm just a country gal!! Of course, I attended high school there at Powell Valley *aka 'The Valley'*. Then, I went on to Walters State Community College in Morristown, TN for two years as a pre-pharmacy major. While there, I got a job at Wal-Mart Pharmacy as a tech & eventually, obtained my Certified Pharmacy Technician License...so, I am a CPhT ~ It looks kinda cool after my name!! LOL...I also moved into my first apartment during that time...it was quite an experience. I moved in with my best friend, Lauren...we had some FUN times!! I graduated from there in May 2003 with my Associates of Science & didn't really know where I wanted to go. So, I ended up at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. It was a huge change & took some getting use to. BUT, now that I look back, I had a blast & miss it a lot. Well, I didn't get into pharmacy school *100 spots & 1600 applications doesn't exactly stack the cards in your favor*...so, I had to switch my major to work towards a degree. It was between Biology & Chemistry...BIOLOGY IT WAS!! So. I then had to decide if I wanted to stay there & go for two more years, paying private school tuition or head to another university. That is how I ended up at EKU in Richmond, KY. I have been here since June 2004 trying to finish up my coursework for my Bachelors of Science in Biology ~ should graduate on May 8,2005!! Overall, I am glad I changed colleges in a way b/c I have been exposed to a variety of people & made tons of wonderful, fun-loving friends!!
So, what do I plan to do after graduation?? Well, right now, my intentions are to be employed by a pharmaceutical company as a pharmaceutical sales representative. I feel as if I would be happy doing that & would do well b/c I enjoy traveling, talking to people, & pharmaceuticals are definitely one of my passions. I have always been interested in them. I feel as if my not getting into pharmacy school might have been a way of telling me that I should do something else. Then again, who knows?? Let's just hope it all works out.

Ok, ok...enough gushy, mushy, lovey, dovey stuff, right?? Well...almost. Just wanna say that I am not only blessed with a loving boyfriend...I also have a very supportive & loving family & friends. In whatever I do, they are right there, standing behind me...there to give me that extra little 'push' when I need it. So, thanks to everyone who has been a part or is a part of my life...I am who I am today b/c of each & every one of you. And although, I am not placing any specific names here b/c there are soooo many of you, you know who you are. I love y'all!!
I understand that a lot of people have been affected by this war & that a lot of people don't understand what exactly we are fighting for. BUT, there are soldiers in our country who are willing to stand up & fight for our freedom. And although, not everyone agrees with them being overseas, they do. They understand the necessity to fight to keep our country, our families, & our future as safe as possible ~ so, we can lay down at night & not have to worry whether we will be killed in our sleep by another terrorist attack. These men & women are the true heroes of this nation ~ not the celebrities whom we all look up to & adore. And even if you don't agree with the war, please pray for our troops ~ along with their families & friends.
