    Superman

As you may or may not know, Jerry is obsessed with Superman. In fact, he even did an American Express ad with him. But that's beside the point. If you like closely, in every episode, you will see some kind of picture of Superman in the background.

    Newman

Wayne Knight, the actor that plays Newman on the show also stars in the movie Jurrasic Park. In Newman's apartment, there's a poster for the movie on the wall.

    Cereal

Another thing that Jerry loves oh so much is cereal. If you look closely, all of his cereal is in alphabetical order.

    Larry David's many cameos

For those of you who don't know, Larry David is the creator of Seinfeld. There are four times I know of that he appears on the show. In one of the episodes, George tries to give a cashier a 20 dollar bill with lips drawn on the presiden't face. The cashier that doesn't accept the bill is Larry David. In another episode, Elaine and Jerry see George's father talking to a man in a cape. The man wearing a cape is Larry David. Do you know who does the voice of George Steinbrenner? That's right, it's Larry David. Also, in the episode where Jerry sat in first class and Elaine had to sit in coach, Larry David makes an appearance. When Elaine was forced to eat the kosher meal, he says something like, "Oh I forgot that I had ordered that months in advance." Those are the only that I know of but I'm sure that there's more.

    Signfeld

Jerry Seinfeld's real dad used to own a sign-making company, called Kal Signs. In the first few minutes of a few of the episodes, if you look behind them when they are walking down the street, there is a sign for Kal Signs. Gee, I wonder why that was there? Considering that that that whole set of the street is fake.

    You Stole My Move

In the episode where George tries to use Jerry's move in bed, Putty is also using his move. Jerry tells Putty that he stole his move and to stop using it. This isn't actually referring to a sexual move. This refers to comedians stealing material.

    Mike Costanza

In one part of the episode Kramer swings into Jerry's apartment with a bandage on his head. George is standing by the counter and Kramer says "Hey Mike!" This is a reference to Jerry Seinfeld's real life friend Mike Costanza who George Costanza is modelled after!

    Prognosis Negative

In one of the episodes, Jerry and the gang go to see Prognosis Negative. Prognosis Negative is a screenplay that Larry David wrote before Seinfeld.

    Made up characters?

There are a number of characters that have appeared in Seinfeld that were named for production people and "friends of the show". Alec Berg, 'Crazy' Joe Davola, Joe Mayo, Christine Nyhart, Stevie Koren, Jed Elinof, Thomas Azzari and Kenny Kramer, to name a few.

    George Washington University

In a number of the early episodes, on the refrigerator in Jerry's apartment is a large yellow sticker that reads "GW Colonials" This is a tribute to Seinfeld's then real-life girlfriend (Shoshanna) who attended George Washington University - their team name is the Colonials.

    Seinfeld on the TV

In the episode where George gets food and sex mixed together, Elaine also has to babysit the annoying kid. When George goes with Elaine to the kid's house George finds that the kid's mother has the same obsession. Before they start making out on the floor, the kid's mom turns on the TV. You can just make out that it's actually an episode of Seinfeld.
