Chapter 26 What happened?
In the night Zac invited me to go to a party with him and I was really exited. I wanted to be trough Tay. I putted on some black tight jeans with a yellow tank top and my favorite coat.
“I will pick you up in five minutes,” Zac said over the phone.
“Ok, I will be waiting for you” I said and hang up.
Zac arrived to my house, Ike has drove him. He looked very cute and sweet. He looked at me and just gave me a short kiss.
“Ike isn’t coming with us” Zac informed me.
“Ok” I didn’t care if he came with us or not. The ride to the party was quiet, no one talked, only Ike a few times and no more.
“Zac I will pick you both up like, 1 am ok?” Ike tired to act mature.
“1:30 am please?” he said with a cute face.
“Ok” he said and left us.
We went into the house and there was lot’s of people. I saw Annie and Barbara. I didn’t want her to see me with Zac. She spotted both of us and she came running with Barbara.
“Tina!” she yelled, the music was so loud I could barley hear her.
“Hi Annie” I said shouting.
“You gotta see this” Annie said grabbing me and taking me with her and Barbara. Zac didn’t let me go alone and he grabbed my hand.
“Look!” Barbara shouted. I froze; I felt how my heart was racing and how my body got cold. Tay was kissing Natalie. He was smiling at her. Zac grabbed me and we all noticed he was looking at us and he started kissing me, so passionately. I was so happy Zac did this. Tay looked at us furiously and grabbed Natalie sweetly from her hand and hugged her. I was happy to be with Zac, but it hurt a lot to see Taylor kissing Natalie.
“I need some air,” I said leaving Zac with Annie and Barbara.
I went outside and sat down on the floor. I started to cry. It hurt so much, I didn’t want to loose Tay, but I think it was better for me and for…my body.
“Tina!” it was Taylor. He was holding Natalie’s hand.
“Leave me alone” I said, he grabbed my arm really hard, the same arm and it hurt a lot. I just pulled away. I saw Zac, Annie, Barbara, Jenn and Christi on the door.
“Listen Tina” he said looking straight into my eyes.
“Fuck you Taylor! I am sick of you!” I yelled at him. All my friends, including Zac, came to hug me.
“Shut up” he said. Natalie was looking at us confused.
“Why? Are you going to rape me?” I said unconsciously. I was glad I got the courage to say that.
“Shut up!” he yelled at me.
“You raped her?” Natalie asked.
“Yes!” I yelled and run away. Zac followed me.
“Tina, calmed down” Zac said holding me. We saw Taylor and Annie coming towards us and we just ran. We crossed a street without even looking and a car hit us. I opened my eyes and I saw my mother sitting next to me. She was crying and she looked tired. I was in the hospital for sure. The room was white and big.

“Baby, oh my God, how are you?” my mom asked kissing my forehead.
“Where’s Zac?” I asked, I was really nervous and worried about Zac.
“He is fine, don’t worry he just broke his arm” my mom said comforting me “How are you?” she asked holding my hand.
“I am ok” I had a huge head ache “Mom what happened?” I really couldn’t remember anything.
“You and Zac got hit by a car” she said crying, “I am going to tell your father and your sisters that you are alright,” she said leaving me alone. I was happy that Victoria and Nicole were here to comfort my mom.
“Tina?” it was Zac standing on the door.
“Zac! How are you?” I was happy that Zac was fine, but why was I on this hospital bed, when Zac was standing there with his broken arm.
“Fine and you?” he sat on my bed.
“I am ok. Zac why am I lying on this bed?” I asked nervously.
“Well…Tina…you should talk to your mom” he answered nervously.
“What happened to me Zac? Answered me!” I demanded, I was really afraid. My mom and all my family came into my room. Zac kissed me on my cheek and left. I was so scared to find out what I had.
“Hi dear, how are you?” my dad asked.
“Ok” I said. They stayed in my room for 10 min and when they left, I asked my mom what happened to me.
“Mom…what happened to me?” I asked nervously. My mom started crying, I was so afraid and tried to maintain calmed.
“Tina, baby, nothing happened to you” she said hugging me, my back hurt.
“They why I can’t leave?” I asked nervously.
“Honey…you were pregnant and you lost the baby” I was shocked. I couldn’t believe it. I started crying.
“I…was pregnant?” I asked crying my mom was trying to comfort me.
“Yes” she said crying.
“Oh God mom!” I felt like if I had something on my throat and didn’t let me breathe.
“There is someone who wants to see you” my mom say cleaning her tears away. My mom left and Taylor entered the room. I was so nervous to tell him.
“Hi” he said shyly and sat down on a chair next to my bed.
“Hi” I said fighting my tears back.
“I heard you lost our baby”, he said sweetly. I couldn’t believe he said “our baby”.
“Oh God” I said and just burst into tears.
“Tina don’t cry, it wasn’t your fault” he said holding my hand. My ribs started to hurt. I looked under my hospital “pajamas” and saw that my thorax was bandaged.
“I am so stupid!” I said loudly. I just wanted to kill my self.
“No, you aren’t, I am the stupid one” Taylor said kissing me softly on my forehead.
“I killed the baby inside me”, I said crying.
“No you didn’t,” he said smiling.
“Please call the nurse I need some pain killers” I just wanted to sleep and make this nightmare disappear. Taylor went to look for a nurse and I tried to stand up. I wanted to go to my house, to my own bed. But my body hurt too much, my stomach, I felt like if I was bleeding, like when you have your period.
“Miss Reeves you can’t stand up” a fat old nurse said.
“I want to go to my house!” I yelled at her. I was pissed off with my self.
“You can’t go to your house for 3 more days” the nurse said. Taylor was standing next to her, weirdly he was smiling. The nurse gave me some painkillers and I felt asleep, with Taylor’s smile on my mind.
