The group prides itself on the authenticity of its performance. It consults experts, books and videos to insure the accuracy of the interpretation.

Interest in the group has been generated throughout the Philadelphia area, leading to many invitations to perform at very varied places and organizations. Among them are The Franklin Institute, Thomas Jefferson Hospital, The university Museum, Block paries in several Philadelphia neighborhoods, festival in and around Philadelphia, Penn's-Landing(during Hispanic Heritage Week), the new Convention center.         The group has shown its social consistency by sponsoring several community service activities. In the past years Estampas Colombianas has organized fund-raisers for needy families who have suffered tragedies and economics hardship. All money collected was distributed to the families and any expences incurred were absorved by the membership.
