~*Chapter 1*~

"Damit Becky wake up!," I yelled over to my sleeping sister, who can somehow always sleep through her alarm while it pisses the rest of us off.

"You'll never be able to wake her, we could get a friging marching band in here and that girl could sleep through it," my other sister Elise said from across the room. I guess I could explain my wide varitey of sisters--we are the famous Namsell Quints. We were born 19 years ago last month and we're different as night and day. I love them but sometimes they piss me off, such as this one winter morning. "Ow!," Becky cryed out as Whitney finally threw a pillow across the room that knocked one of Becky's trophies off the wall and on to her head. "What gives," She asked, sleepily opening her sea green eyes that matched the 6 that were staring back at her.

"Time to rise and shine sweetheart," Nicole said as she sailed into the room, towel drying her long blonde hair. Nicole was older then me by 2 minutes, then there was Elise, Whitney, and finally the baby of the family Becky. Everyone thought of Nicole as the smart one because she got the best grade and was promised entrace to the best school next fall. I used to be jealous of her until I realize I was so much better at what really counted! Yes, shopping, gossip and men are usually the three top words that come out of this girls mouth. The 5 of us share a room, don't feel bad for us because it's a huge room and we bascailly all have our own space--that didn't mean we didn't get on eachothers nerves. I guess Whitney's the worst because her part of the room looked like a hurricane has gone through it EVERY DAY! It always seems to gravitate over to my part of the room--not that I was the neatest in the world. "I've got shotgun on the next shower," I yelled as I grabbed all my shower stuff ready to make a run for the girls door.

"Bull Jen, you got second shower yesterday, I've gotta be at school in an hour," Elise said as she finally crawled out of bed.

"Sorry little sis, I'm older I get it next," I said pulling the I'm-older-then-you-by-1-minute routine for what must have been the millionth time, then skipped out of the room. I could hear the phone ringing as I hopped into the hot shower and almost decided agaisnt getting in because she knew it was Ryan calling her about her ride to school. "Oh well, someone will take a message," I thought before closing the shower door.

"Helllllo fellow seniors, and welcome to another day that brings us older high schoolers just days closer to the winter ball," Jamie our school announcement guy told everyone. It was Monday and this was her least favourte day of the week, because it's the longest time until she could go to the beach and work on her tan. "Hmp," I said as I looked up at the WINTER BALL sign on the wall, Ryan hadn't asked her yet and she was getting pretty tired of waiting. She was of course one of the most popular girls at school and she had had her fair share of offer. She saw her siser Becky across the room flirting with new new exchange student Rual. I guess you could say out of all the girl Becky and I are the closest--We both up played our Beverly Hills good looks, and wore the latest fashions. Personally I thought my look was slightly better but who am I to judge. I smiled at the thought of her sister Nicole, because Nikki really downplayed her amazing looks by wearing casual shorts, t-shirts and little make-up---she was still beautiful, it was just less effort. Elise was the sporty one- yes I know we sound like the spice girls but it's true! Elise would rather play a game of touch foot ball with the guys anyday then be caught dead in the Bev Hills mall. I for one am known personally in almost every store. Elise was cool though because could pretty much get along with everyone and everybody--she doesn't judge people as harshly as--well my group of friends. Whitney is one in her own--if she feels sporty, she'll dress that way, if she feels dressy--she'll doll herself up. Every sister could find something to wear in that girls closet. "What are you huffing about girl,?" My best friend Isabelle asked me, raising one of her perfectly shaped eyebrows in my direction. Isabelle was unique but also just like me in many ways--she knew all my secrets but the good thing was I knew hers! We were very competitve woth guys and stuff but when push comes to shove we were always there for eachother. "Nothing, it's just Ryan hasn't asked to the dance yet," I pouted in her direction.

"Ryan Walls?, Isn't that the guy your sister after," Isabelle didn't looked shocked at all.

"What my boring, save the trees sister Nic?," I laughed, it was true thoughm Nicole had liked Ryan since we all used to play in the mud togther--the only different was Ryan and I had pulled ourselves out of the mud and grown up.

"Yeah, I guess your right--what guy in there right mind would pick Nicole when they could have the upgraded version," Isabelle laughed at her own joke, her dark eyes danced across the room looking at Becky.

"Is there any guy that girl won't date?" Isabelle scowled in her direction.

"Come'om Izzy, you've had you eye on Rual since he brought his cute exchange student but over here!," I laughed as Isabelle just continued to stare.

"Yeah but she better watch her pretty blonde head, because Isabelle Rizzo is on the prowl," I didn't hear her threat because a tall dark haired hottie walzed into the room, and santered towards me. "Jen, can I talk to you beautiful," Ryan said to me as I began to melt.

Hey!!! Jen here, this is the start of what I hope to be a great story!! becky Long's gonna write the next chapter from Elises point of view, because this one was obviosly from the character Jen!!! It's gonna be great!!!
