Surrendering to God...

In times of despair and hopelessness we found ourselves searching for comfort and guidance. Sometimes the people that you think would be able to help you could not even give you the answers that you are looking for. I have experienced that, and no matter they say or do to console me, their efforts I appreciate but still my questions are not answered. I realized that the comfort is a complete surrender to God.

Surrendering to God can change situations. Your dark days of gloom will change into a bright day after a night of a winter storm. What you will experience is the serenity of peace when you see outside your window the sun shining and the snow on the ground are sparkling like diamonds. A beautiful sight to see!

Often in times of despair and hopelessness a complete surrender to God can change situations. Even when all seems useless and it is difficult to pray any more, when the answers don't seem to be coming, a simple prayer of:
"Lord, I'm tired, I'm worn out asking, I place the whole situation in your loving hands and now ask you to deal with it in Your own way and in Your own time."
Everyday I whisper: God breathe on me… I am opening my heart to You!

Let us yield to God’s will, and Surrender to the Lord.

Romans 6:13 - Nor must you surrender any part of yourselves to sin to be used for wicked purposes. Instead, give yourselves to God, as those who havebeen brought from death to life, and surrender your whole being to him to be used for righteous purposes.

Surrendering to God’s will is repenting on your sins. God’s kindness would lead us to repentance. Repentance is not just being sorry or apologetic of what you done or said, but being sorry, apologetic and most all the taking of action of not to sin again.

"Or do you presume upon the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience? Do you not know that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?" Romans 2:3-5
