Who should use a proofreader or editor?
Mainly, those who have the most need of my services are people who worry about grammatical mistakes in their school papers and people who have to submit writing for some professional purpose or another (like a web page). I actually have to edit this page later because it is far from perfect; I am just in a hurry now because I am not at my own computer. I will probably look at it later and regret posting it in this condition at all. That is the danger of relying upon yourself as your own proofreader or editor.
