Tea Leaves
Reading tea leaves is one of the easiest forms of divination. By placing tea leaves in a teacup, you can use your inner eye to see a shape through the leaves.
Drink tea from the teacup until only dreg remain. Swirl 3 times with left your hand. Turn over on a saucer and wait for the last of the tea to drain away before reading it. The following key will tell you what each shape means.

Crystal Ball Gazing
Crystal ball gazing is one of the trickiest forms of divination. Like reading tea leaves, you must find a shape within the ball using your inner eye. The figures you see in a crystal ball have the same meaning as the ones you see in the tea leaves. However, unlike tea leaves, ball gazing requires a great deal more concentration and silence. Block out all noises and distractions. Never take your eyes off the ball, and keep dead quiet.
Fire Reading
To do a fire reading, you must first, of course, have fire. The larger the easier, for the flames are carrying more magic. A single flame posesses only a little magic, therefore trying to read candelight or a torch is impossible unless the reader is highly skilled with the inner eye.
Stare into the fire. Imagine the flames as living people. Listen to its roaring. If you are serious enough and listen carefully to the fire noises, it will think you are polite, and will speak, show shapes, or turn certain colors. Of course, you are the only one who can see this happening. If another witch or wizard is watching and not concentrating at all, he or she will not see what you are seeing. If you want to do it with another person or group, hold hands with them and have everyone concentrate. This is more difficult, for if one person is not concentrating hard enough, it's ruined.
