Students, here is where you can find out how quidditch games will be played. If you wish to see who is your house team go to the Quidditch Sign Ups page.
I Headmistress Rose will set a particular date on which the quidditch game will be held, and I will post it in your common rooms and on the announcement board.
At that time I will hide three quaffles and three bludgers at random pages on the site. These pages will say "You have found Bludger or Quaffle number 1,2 or 3." Here is an example of what one of these messages will look like
*~*~*~*~*~YOU HAVE FOUND BLUDGER 3!!!! IM ME RIGHT AWAY AT Unicorntig TO GET POINTS FOR YOUR TEAM~*~*~*~*
When a player finds one of these messages, they are to IM me right away with the number of the quaffle or bludger they found, what position they play, and what page they found it on.
When a Chaser finds a quaffle, they earn 10 points for their team.
When a Beater finds a bludger, they make the other team lose ten points.
About five minutes into the game I will hide the golden snitch on one of the pages. This is where the Seekers come in. The first Seeker to find the snitch and IM me with their house and what page they found the snitch on will earn 150 points for their team and end the game.
Don't worry Keepers, you haven't been forgotten. In this game of quidditch your job is to find both the quaffles and the bludgers. When you find a bludger the other team loses 10 points, and when you find a quaffle your team gains 10 points.
After each bludger and quaffle is found they will be added to different pages, so the game will continue until the snitch is found.
Players, remember that games will not start until the teams have been filled up. So if your are interested in playing quidditch, sign up. The quicker people sign up, the sooner games will begin.
