I was vacationing on a tropical island with my mother. I looked as I do now, but I was still about 12 in the dream. The hotel was made up of ladders and small flats just large enough to sleep in, and the walls were made up of viney plants. I went to the white sanded beach, which was so incredibly beautiful, and I was the only one there. I swam in the ocean, which was warm and so crystal clear I could see for miles and miles while beneath the surface. I swam for what seemed like days, and felt as if all of my problems in the world didn't matter while I was in that water. I met my mom back at the hotel, and she was exicted about taking me to a seminar of some kind. We arrived, and half-way through I snuck out to find this girl I had made friends with earlier. The girl told me that lunchtime was soon, and that I could go tell the "chef" what I wanted now. I went over to him and asked what my choices were, and he pointed to various boxes of cereal, which was all he had. The girl and I walked over to the lobby of the hotel, where I met back up with my mom. She (my mom) told me that an ex-boyfriend of mine from about 7 years ago called her and told her I had went out with him the night before - which I didn't. As I was trying to convince her that this was a lie, we walked through the lobby. There seemed to be a body of water under the floor, but it was covered in thick vines, and the water seeped up from below every time I took a step. Then I looked up, and saw that the larger plants and vines were eating the smaller ones that the walls were made out of. I could then see what was going on above the hotel: In an animation style just like from Pink Floyd-The Wall, these huge, monstrous plants were up in the dark, stormy clouds, working their way down to the hotel as they devoured all of the smaller plants - it seemed like a war. All I could think of was how I wanted to be back in the ocean.

I was at my friend Rebecca's house, whom I've never met in person. We were sitting on her couch, drawing a picture together - it was of a house by a lake with a lot of trees around it. I kept looking over at her and nudging her, as she did to me - we were giggling about how strange it was that we were sitting there together - in person...finally. She looked like she does in this picture, and we were both very dressed up...and tipsy. :)
