Bollywood is basically the film industry of India.

What interested me, an African-American female about it?

Well at first I became interested in a certain genre of Indian music that I found out is known as Hindi film music, and that it comes from movies (hence "film music"). Then I got interested in finding out things about the movies and actors. I haven't really seen any of the movies although I want to. So I know a lot about the movies now considering I don't know much Hindi (an Indian language), I haven't really seen the movies, and I am not Indian.

She has appeared in such films as "Jooth Bole Kauwa Kaate" with Anil Kapoor, "Darr", "Duplicate" and "Yes Boss!" with Shah Rukh Khan, "Ishq" with Kajol, Ajay Devgan, and Aamir Khan (I think), "Aaina", and other movies.

She has also starred in "Hameesha" and "Yeh Dillagi" with Saif Ali Khan, "Dushman" with Sanjay Dutt, and a movie with an incredibly long title I can't remember with Anil Kapoor recently.
