Obituaries list Houston, Dave, Love and Russ as brothers. Death certificate lists Ben Lowery as father. This is a major mistake. Wife Georgia is listed in an obituary and on the death certificate. Address for Samuel is 2916 Calhoun Ave. in Chattanooga. This is the same address in the obituary and death certificate.

OBITUARY:

Samuel C. Lowery, 72, died Monday night at the residence, 2916 Calhoun avenue. He is survived by his widow, Mrs Georgia Lowery; daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Cronnon; a son, Ernest Lowery, and four brothers, Love, Houston, Russ and Dave Lowery, all of Chattanooga. The body will remain at the residence, where the funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday. The Rev. A.M. Stansel will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Hills cemetery, Smith's service in charge.
