Billy Tallent
Born: William Boisy
Much like Joe, Billy was arrested at age 13 for car theft. If it weren’t for
this illegal act he would never of met his best buddy. His court date at the old
Vancouver courthouse changed his life forever.
Billy had always wanted to be a musician. Joe helped him achieve this goal by
being in each and every band Billy started since his 14th birthday. Some were
five minute wonders, but Billy loved the idea. He always wanted to live the rock
‘n’ roll lifestyle with hookers and limousines.
After Hard Core Logo’s final gig in 1991 Billy hopped a plane to Hollywood
trying to make it big. He hooked up with the band Jennifur and finally got his
chance at stardom. The lead guitarist went into rehab and Billy was asked to be
the replacement. For the first time ever Billy played without Joe. When Billy
heard about the reunion gig he was back in Vancouver for the final show ever.
Then the reunion tour came about and Billy was about to lose his gig back in the
states. After a few uneasy days he nailed the contract with Jennifur and he left
HCL forever.
After Joe’s final good-bye (a punch in the face) Billy left for L.A. without
telling everyone else.
He is still touring with Jennifur, but he’s involved in a custody battle to get
his daughter back.
