Willow finally calmed herself down. If this was going to be her last night with Oz than she was sure as hell going to make the best of it. The black dress she was going to wear was a loose fitting black dress. Made out of silk and held up by spaghetti straps. It wasn't tight when she put it on but you could easiliy see her figure. Buffy called Oz and told him that Willow was over at her house for the night, because she had a fight with her mom and Willow wanted to cheer her up. It didn't seem to phase Oz. He was perceptive, with his wolf sense and all but Buffy always managed to pull something off.

Half an hour later there was a firm knock on Buffy's front door. Willow raced down the stairs to open the door. Every second she saw of Oz was every second of memory. Oz looked at her in awe. She looked so beautiful. Not that she wasn't always beautiful before, but something told Oz that something was different tonight. He couldn't exactly place his finger on it, but he could sense something else was in the air.

"You look beautiful." Oz said in a dreamy voice. He enveloped his arms around her waist and she put hers around his neck and laid her head down on his shoulder. He knew something was wrong at that instant. She was so stiff, and she smelled faintly of fresh tears. "Are you Ok?" Oz asked pulling away from her and looking lovingly into her eyes. She returned the look and nodded her head. He knew something was wrong but he didn't want to push it. *Did she have a fight with her parents because of me?* Oz wandered. He knew Willow's parents didn't like him but he never thought that they hated him enough to make Willow cry.

"Yes I'm fine. I just had a rough day." Willow said quietly. Oz put his arm around her waist and gently guided her down the steps.

"Did you want to talk about it?" Oz asked with a concern filled voice.

"Not right now. I don't want to depress you. Let's just have fun." Willow said in a cheery voice. Willow gave him one of her award winning smiles and he returned it gingerly. His eyes hazed over out of love and compassion. He nodded slightly and took her hand in his. She had 6 hours left. 2 years ago, he had gotten rid of the van and bought a 98 Midnight blue mustang convertible, with a tan leather interior. He opened the car door for Willow and then waited until she was fully seated before closing the door. He looked handsome. He was wearing Black semi-baggy jeans and a midnight blue T-shirt tucked in and lightly bloused out, and was complimented with a black leather waist coat. Willow wore a gray sweater over her dress and they rode of into the night. Oz thinking of what promising good fortune would come of this night, and Willow dreading what pain she would cause.

"Where are we going?" Willow asked.

"We are going to go see that movie at the drive in that you've been wanting to see. 'Cruel Intentions.'" Oz said looking at Willow. "That is what you've been wanting to see? Right?" Oz said raising his eyebrows when he noticed her rigid form.

"Yaah. I've been wanting to see that forever. I still can't believe that they finally got a drive in movie theatre though. They tore the last one down when I was 5." Willow said remembering.

They pulled into the drive in theatre and found a comfortable spot about 50 feet away from the screen. It was big enough to see 200 feet away, but they didn't want to strain their eyes so they got about middle row. Oz removed the cup holder that was sitting between the two seats and pushed it to the back. Both He and Willow pulled at the lever at the side of their seats and the two chairs scooted closer until it was like a small couch. Willow unbuckled her seat belt as well as Oz and they cuddled together as the movie started. Willow placed her head on his chest, and wrapped her arms around his stomach and sighed deeply. Content to be in his arms for the next hour and a half. Oz rapped one arm around her shoulder and the other to her hand. He gently cradled her body and kissed her forehead. The night had only just begun. Half way through the movie Willow and Oz were making out. Once the two were out of breath they pulled away and watched the rest of the movie in silence resuming their earlier positions.

"So...how did you like the movie?" Oz asked.

"I don't know..." Willow said. "I'm not all for the ending." Willow went on.

"I know...that was so sad." Oz said wrinkling his face making a soft frown.

"Well now what did you want to do. I'm all yours until 12 a clock."

Oz immediately withdrew the carnival tickets. In all of Willow's 21 years, she had never gone to the carnival. Mainly because her parents considered them to be unsafe, but it wasn't as if Willow cared about them anymore. Willow squealed in delight and started jumping up and down she was so happy.

"Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!!!" Willow screamed. She hugged him hard. "God I love you. Your so perfect." Willow said, enthusiastically. She nuzzled his neck as she hugged him, and Oz sighed in relief. Even though Willow was easy to please, he always wanted things to be perfect for her birthday. He kissed the temple of her eye and hugged her back.

"I'm happy you liked it." Oz said.

"Like? I more than like. Oz this is probably been the sweetest thing you have ever done for me." Willow said in awe. He drove them to the carnival and gave the man their all ride tickets. They could ride anything they wanted for free just as long as they had the plastic wrist bands on. The first ride they went on was the twister. It was a fast ride that started out slow than gradually worked its way from right-side up to upside down. After the ride was over Willow and Oz flew out of the cart dizzy. After that they rode the roller coasters, the love boat, the conquistador which was another boat that would swing side to side, had their fortunes told, won 2 teddy bears, a bugs bunny hat, and a stick of blue cotton candy. The entire time Oz had his arms around her waist until they finally made it to the Ferris Wheel. The seats were beautiful plush white, along with freshly picked red and white roses from a gardener. It seemed as if the night was made just for them. Once they were seated Willow laid her back against Oz's chest and closed her eyes, savoring the warm breeze that had just surpassed them. The night smelled faintly of rain, Oz's cologne, and the beautifully cut roses. She loved that smell. It almost reminded her of her room in the mornings.

After the ride was over the clock was rounding 11 o'clock. Willow was getting agitated. She only had 1 more hour to look at him and see that handsome smile he always gave to her when she made him happy. Oz drove her across town back to Buffy's house. It was 11:30. She suddenly felt like Cinderella. She had to be back before the clock struck 12. Buffy was out patrolling and they went upstairs. Oz noticed Willow's stuff was packed and he frowned. He knew something was wrong.

"What are all of your clothes doing over here?" Oz asked.

"Uh. That's what I've been wanting to talk with you about. My parents and I had a fight this morning after you left." Willow said starting to cry. "They told me some bad things that I didn't like, and I left. I told them I was never coming back." Willow said lowering her head. She put her arms around his waist and cried on his shoulder.

"Was it because of me? Because if it was I'll fix it I promise." Oz said, so much concern in his voice.

"Um...it was about you sort of, but it sort of went deeper than that." Willow said sitting on the bed. "Oz I don't know what to do. I'm going to make this as blunt as possible. I love you so much..." Willow said. "but I can't see you anymore. I'm being transferred to New York" Willow said breaking down into sobs. She looked down in shame and than looked up at Oz. He was looking outside the window, tears were evident to come in his eyes. His eyes were red.

When she said those words, his heart broke. This wasn't how it was supposed to be. It was supposed to be one more year of college and then boom. They would be promised to be together for the rest of their lives. Not now, this wasn't right. He felt as if he were choking. He couldn't speak, he couldn't think. He had the sudden urge to break something.

"Why?" Oz asked. Tears drowning his voice. "We were supposed to be together forever." Oz said. He looked straight at Willow. Her head was ducked into her hands.

"I can't tell you." Willow said.

"Why?"

"I just can't!!!" Willow screamed through her tears. "I can't tell you, I can't be with you. Please just trust me. I love you so much, but I can't be with you." Willow said standing up. She began pacing the room.

"That's not good enough. You don't just say you can't see me anymore and than not tell me why." Oz said pointing his finger at the floor for emphasis as he bored his eyes into Willow's.

"It has to be." Willow cried.

"No, it doesn't. Just tell me what's going on and I'll fix it." He said striding over to Willow. He embraced her and she put her head down. He placed his chin on the back of her neck. "I promise. I'll fix it. What ever you want, you can have." Oz said desperate.

"The only thing I want in the world is to be with you, but I can't have you. No matter what you do. Please? Just trust me on this." Willow pleaded.

"How can I trust you. I have been in love with you ever since the first time I saw you. You dated me for 4 and half years and you just expect me to let you go without an explanation?" Oz asked letting go of Willow and backing up. "I can't believe you would do something like this."

"Why are you putting all of this pressure on me. I told you. I'm sorry. I love you so much, but you just have to understand that I'm leaving for New York and I can't see you anymore." Willow said. At that Oz quickly grabbed her elbows and looked straight into her eyes.

"It will never be over between us. Do you understand that. I will never be able to stop loving you. Never. I won't let you leave, I won't. I'll go with you to New York..." Oz pleaded. He was shockingly interrupted by a forceful blow to the chest. Willow quickly pushed at his chest to make him let go of her. He let go of her and looked at her with accusation, anger, shock, and remorse for grabbing her. He couldn't believe that she would hit him. Better yet he couldn't believe she would push him away like that. Anger flared into Willow's eyes.

"Oz?" Willow said in shock. She couldn't believe she just pushed him like that. "I...I...I wasn't intending on doing that." Willow said shaking her head in disbelief. "Oh god. I can't believe I pushed you. God." Willow said shaking. She backed up against the wall for support and slid down to the floor, her knees curled up to her chest."

"I'm sorry." Oz said, swallowing down a sob. He squatted down to level his eyes with hers. "You look me in the eyes and tell me its over. If you do, I promise...I'll never write you, I'll never call you, I'll never come near you again. I'll leave you alone." Oz said.

"Can't we just be friends?" Willow asked.

"That's not possible. We could never just be friends." Oz said.

"I don't want to lose you Oz. I just can't be with you any more." Willow said.

"Do you love me Willow?" Oz asked. He had to know.

"Yes...Yes...I love you so much." Willow said trying to reassure him.

"Than why won't you just let us be happy?" Oz asked. "We could go places together, we could travel..." Oz said cunning Willow to stay. With that Willow broke down into quaking sobs. She had asked her father the exact same question, and she was about to give him the same exact answer.

"I just want you to be happy. I know it sounds sappy, but I know what I'm talking about. You wouldn't be happy with me Oz. You may think you know me but you really don't." Willow said.

"Willow...just tell me you don't love me." Oz said in a resigned sigh.

"Never." Willow said. "I will never lie to you like that." Willow said. At that Oz gave her 1 more look. Savoring every last inch of her. Her hair, her skin, her eyes, her lips, and her hands. He couldn't see her smile because she had not one on her.

"I'll always love you. Once I leave this house...I won't be back. Do you understand. I'll be in Arizona. Because I can't look at you and not want you." Oz said. Tears flowing freely down his face. Willow nodded her head. She knew the consequences, she had faced them on her parents her self. Oz waited for her to say something but she did not. She just sat there. Shaking on the floor, writhing against the wall.

He raced out of the room and slammed the door behind him so hard it made the desk shake and a few vases fall over. He stomped down the stairs furious. Seconds later he was out of the door, and he slammed it as well. He got into his Mustang and turned up the music so loud Willow could hear it from upstairs. He was playing it on the eagle. He drove out to the deserted highway and when it seemed like it was clear, he stepped on the gas pedal as hard as he could forcing his mustang to go 110 miles an hour. His face was soaked with tears. After about a minute he calmed down a bit and slowed down to 70 mph.

"Ira!!! I've had enough of this. That boy has corrupted our daughters mind." Sheila began.

"I know honey. Don't worry. He'll pay." Ira assured.

"Well Ira? What exactly are you going to do. You can't shoot the boy..."

"I know. Let me put it to you this way though. I'm going to make sure he never sees the inside of a college." Ira assured her.

"but you promised Willow you wouldn't." Sheila said.

"She's our daughter Sheila. I only want what's best for her. That boy has messed with her mind, turned her against us and I'm going to make sure that he learns his lesson. You don't mess with the Rosenbergs."
