Willow just couldn't stop crying. 2 hours later Buffy came home and
comforted Willow. She was going to have a little talk with Oz after
Willow left. She so badly wanted to tell him why Willow had to do that,
but she promised Willow. And a promise was a promise.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2 weeks later.
Finals were over. Not once had Oz shown up on campus. Willow was
finally at the bus station. Bags in her hands. Both Buffy and Xander
were with her.
"Give me a call when you get there...you do have a place to stay
right?" Xander asked.
"Yaah. Remember Samantha? She said I could stay with her at the dorm."
Willow said reassuringly. Her eyes were still red. Purple bags were
under her eyes, and she probably had not eaten since 2 weeks ago.
"I love you Willow" Buffy said crying. This was it. Both Xander and
Buffy felt that they were losing a sister. Not some common friend that
you've known since highschool, but a sister. One they never felt they
deserved to have in the first place.
"I love you too. Both of you...I'll call you." Willow said as the
driver told Willow to hurry up.
"Bye Will's." Xander said. Tears in his eyes.
Willow raced to the back of the bus and placed her open hand to the
window. She blew them a kiss as the bus took off and she didn't turn
her head back until both were out of site. She admired every little
store remaining in Sunnydale. The movies, Radio Shack, Braum's ice
cream store, and the...carnival. They were packing up. Willow could
feel fresh tears come up at the site. It was the last place she and Oz
had ever been. The last place they kissed, the last place she really
saw him smile. Than, the bus passed his house. She could see him
outside, packing his bags into the back of his Mustang. She thought he
was going to Arizona...but he wasn't. She didn't know what her father
had done, due to the lack of conversation. Neither had Oz. He never
knew why they revoked his admission, but he was sure it had something
to do with Sunnydale. He just didn't know what...yet. He was loading up
his bags to head out towards LA. He had a lake side cabin up there with
his name on it. He just needed to get away for a while. Make that a
long while. Everywhere he went he thought of Willow. Which was why he
was leaving. Oh yes, he would be back, but...not now. Just a thousand
too many memories. As he was loading up something told him to look up.
He heard a noise coming down the street, so his head looked up just in
time to see a flash of red hair sail along the road along with the bus.
He bit his lip to keep from crying and then his heart fluttered when he
saw her eyes staring back into his. He wasn't far from the road and he
could make sense of the words she was mouthing out to him. She was
saying
"I love you...always." Willow mouthed to Oz through the closed Window.
Her face scrunched up and turned red as well as Oz's. His heart
constricted painfully against the skin on his chest, longing for the
bus to stop...longing for red hair to come flying his way and into his
arms...but it never happened.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
72 hours later.
its a fast bus
"Samantha!!!" Willow yelled in glee.
"Willow Marie Rosenberg?" Samantha asked in amazement. "Look at you.
You're, so much taller. Oh my god. I'm so happy to see you...finally."
Samantha said grabbing Willow into a huge bear hug. Samantha had agreed
to pick Willow up at the bus station. Willow and Samantha were long
time good friends, but exact opposites. Physically they both had the
same strength. Samantha had dark brown shoulder length hair, brown
eyes, and Olive skin. She was about 2 inches smaller than Willow. She
was always into tight outfits as well. Willow was going to be in for
the ride of her life.
"So...where do you live?" Willow asked enthusiastically.
"Right here..." Samantha said pulling up into the driveway. This was
where the rich people always lived. They had huge apartments that were
like condominiums. Samantha's was a solid 2-story house made out of
polished cabin wood, along with Blue and Red rose bushes surrounding
it. In the back, the place was surrounded with redwood trees, and a
huge 12 feet deep pool.
"I thought you said you lived in an apartment." Willow said. The place
was amazing.
"This is my apartment." Samantha said. "And now it is ours." she
finished. "Oh and you want to know what is really cool?"
"What?"
"You get to live here with me for free. My parents said so." At that
Willow's features lit up.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
later that night
Willow woke up feeling sick at her stomach. She immediately ran towards
the bathroom to throw up. When she was done and her stomach was empty
she looked up into the mirror. Her face was a pale white. She almost
looked albino compared to her limp red hair. She decided she needed a
shower.
Throughout the month with Samantha, Samantha would shower her with
gifts from her parents and she was introduced to all the other nearby
students. She called Buffy and Xander occasionally. Meanwhile...her
stomach was still feeling quite sick. Maybe she had the flu or
something. Oh well. She would have Samantha take her to the doctor
tomorrow.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
the next day
"Mrs. Rosenberg?"
"Yaah that's me. Am I Ok?" Willow asked. "I'm not dying am I."
The doctor laughed lightly. "No, No Miss Rosenberg...you're not dying."
"Oh good. Just checking."
"Well the results are in. You're not sick...you're...pregnant." The
doctor said with an unreadable expression. She couldn't tell if he was
smiling or frowning. Willow was stunned. She hadn't been with Oz for
almost 2 months. How could she just now be finding out.
"Uh...wow." Was all Willow could say.
"I'm glad you waited till you were in your 20's but there are still
quite a few questions I have to know."
"And what might those be?" Willow asked.
"Who is the father?" The doctor asked.
"Oz." Willow replied softly.
"Ok. Oswald..."
"No. Just Oz." Willow corrected.
"Ok. Are you planning on keeping..."
"YES!!!!" Willow nearly hollered. She nearly jumped out of her skin for
even thinking that.
"Ok." The doctor said. "Are you going to tell Oz?" The doctor asked.
Willow thought about it for a long time. Oz was the father, and he did
have the right to know, but she had also crushed him. For all she knew
he might of been dating another woman already. But it was still Oz's
child.
"I don't know if I can." Willow said quietly.
"Are you afraid?" The doctor asked curiously.
"Sort of. He and I broke up about 6 weeks ago."
"Why?" The doctor asked.
"My parents. They threatened his future and put it in my hands."
"I'm very sorry. Are you going to tell your parents?"
"NO!!!!" Willow said firmly. Her eyes went wide-eyed at the thought of
even telling them.
"Well someone should know Miss Rosenberg."
"My friend Samantha. I can tell her anything." Willow assured him.
"Alright. I'll go fill out your prescription. Take these 2 times a day,
and these 6 hours after the first. Alright?"
"Yaah. What ever."
"Very good. I'll be right back."
