5/15/00: NASCAR Busch driver, Adam Petty, 19, died Friday after of severe head trauma after crashing into the wall during qualifying. Adam is the son of Kyle, the grandson of Richard, and the great grandson of Lee Petty (who died April 5th). My thoughts and prayers go out to the Petty family in their time of grief. I will be putting up a page on the Pettys in the near future."
10/31/99: CART Driver Greg Moore was killed today at the last race of the Cart Series, this season, due to massive head and internal injuries. My thoughts & prayers are with your family right now Greg. May you RIP.
