The new Baboon cage is quite amazing. Gone are the bars. Totally open and plenty of room. I don't know if it was deliberate or simply an aspect of the site but the rocks are a great boon. They give the animals something to run, jump, climb over, to hide behind, this divides the enclosure giving suborbinate animals a place to go. They also give the baboons something to explore and who knows, tasty insects or lizards might be found?
