Here is an example of what old zoos need to work with. This is the old baboon cage. In my mind it isn't too bad. Open to the elements, vegetated, and the animals are able to climb the bars. There also appears to be plenty of room. I have seen far worse examples of monkey cages than this. Cages of iron and concrete; dark, damp and boring.
