About Us

My name is Linda Morris, and I am the owner of Shining Star. I suppose I have been on a spiritual journey all my life. My first memory of spirituality was as a small child. My sisters and I used to chase golf balls for my dad. He would hit them out in a field and we would run and collect them. It was a great game for us. We were easily amused back then. One day while playing our game, my sisters and I looked up in the sky and got a vision of Jerusalem and saw angels in the sun. My sisters have chosen to forget this memory, but I never have.
My real spiritual quest began fourteen years ago when the mountains called my name. I came to Colorado on vacation and felt the power and ancient wisdom of the rocks. Also, as a child, I had a rock and fossil collection and have always been drawn to the power within them. I went back home to West Virginia from vacation, quit my job, uprooted my sons and moved to Colorado.
My first experience here was getting a job in a physicians' office, where I am still employed. A fellow employee came to work shortly after I started and was wearing a crystal pendant. She pointed out an article in the paper about crystals and my journey began. My first healing work was strictly with crystals. Exploring the different stones; their colors and textures and metaphysical properties. Soon into this journey I encountered a Reiki practitioner who introduced the wonderful power of the Reiki energy. Shortly after this, my best friend was diagnosed with AIDS. I used Reiki energy and crystals to help ease her pain, but felt helpless in the last few weeks of her life that I could not do more.
Renae has been gone now for many years, but she taught me many lessons in compassion and forgiveness and I thank her spirit for setting me on this healing path.
I became a Reiki Master, a Master of Magnified Healing. I explored healing touch and finally have evolved to the Melchizedek Method which has been the most powerful experience I have had to date. Of course, I still work with my beloved rocks, empowering them with holographic energy and sending them out into the Earth.
I continue to grow and evolve and become more enlightened every day. My hope is that you who are reading this come join us on our journey. We will be happy to have you along.
