Now you may think that the words Airedale and Agility should not go in the same sentence.  If you thought that, you would be wrong.  We are well into our second season of AireCadets Agility, this year working with Noel Druisseau of Paw-z-tracks .  Our goals for agility are to have some fun (both the dogs and the owners), learn a little about positively motivating a dog and to do a demonstration of the versatility of the breed at the All Breeds Dog Show at Shouldice Park August 4, 2002 (12:15 to 12:45 PM).

From my perspective, agility is great way to spend time with your dog.  They really do seem to love the action and the praise.  This is the second year Christie and I have done agility for fun.  We don't expect to compete but we sure enjoy the time together and it helps me as a handler learn ways to teach and correct behaviours.  For more information you can contact me at (403) 251-9776.   Lynn Jenkins.
