CLASS DESCRIPTIONS




PiYo: This popular class is a combination of Yoga and Pilates. It integrates stretch, strength and postural alignment into one system. Major emphasis is placed on the deep abdominal muscles, buttocks, upper body and lower back. Breathing is used to promote fluidity and control of movement. This is a total muscle conditioning / flexibility class for all fitness levels.

MUSCLE: This class is designed for all fitness levels. Whether you are new and looking to get started in a fitness program, or if you would just like to add more weight training to your current workout, this class is for you! Using free weights, bands, and steps, you will target and tone all the major muscle groups.

GLIDING FOR STRENGTH: Gliding is a unique sliding disc exercise system that allows for smooth fluid graceful movements. It turns traditional exercises into smooth, consistent, flowing patterns that you will use to target every major muscle group. Gliding exercises work multiple muscles while engaging core stabilization throughout the range of motion.

Class includes a short warm-up, abdominal work, and stretches.

CARDIO COMBO: Want a fun, great workout to burn those unwanted calories? Try our cardio combo class. It uses a combination of step, kick-boxing,and hi/low aerobics to keep your blood pumping!

Class includes a short warm-up, cardiovascular conditioning, abdominal work, and stretches.

STEP AEROBICS: Step up and improve your cardiovascular and muscular endurance with this fun and effective workout. This class uses a Reebok Step with risers to allow you to adjust the height of the step to fit your fitness level. Stepping up and down in a variety of patterns creates a super cardio workout!

Class includes a warm-up, cardiovascular conditioning, abdominal work, and stretches.

CARDIO SCULPT: This class is a combination of strength training and various types of cardio using the step and trampoline.

This is a class for all fitness levels.

CARDIO BLAST: This class consits of cardio intervals using a variety of fitness equipment (trampoline, step, jumprope, agility ladder).

This is a class for all fitness levels.

TREKKING: A moderate to high intensity treadmill class varying the speed and elevation. You can choose to walk or run. This is a class for all fitness levels.

REBOUND: A great workout! A coordination tester --- challenging, but easy to follow, non jarring on the body. It will firm your legs, thighs ,abs, and hips. Increase your agility, improve your balance, strengthen your muscles, and provide an aerobic effect for your heart.

Class includes a warm-up and warm down

KICKBOXING: A high intensity cardio class using the four main punches (jab, hook, cross, and uppercut) along with the four main kicks (front, side, round, and back). You will perform a variety of combinations using all of the punches and kicks.

STEP-N-SCULPT: A combination of strength training and step class

Class includes a warm-up and warm down, and abdominal work
