"Um, well. Why don't we go to my house?" Stacey said.
"Okay." The two girls packed up(stuffed their trash into their
backpacks) and headed off to Stacey's neighborhood.
Huffing and puffing, Stacey and Susie appeared at the top of Stacey's
drive way.
"You have GOT to make your drive way shorter!" Susie exclaimed.
"Come on." Stacey and Susie parked their bikes and rushed upstairs
to Stacey's room. Stacey and Susie always had this little race to
Stacey's desk chair. Stacey got there first. So Susie sat on the
bed.
"I got some more stash." Stacey said pointing to her paint box, CD
case, her set of encyclopedias, and in her desk drawers. Susie got
behind the encyclopedias and in the paint box. She returned to the
bed with about ten miniature snicker bars and a pack of star burst.
Stacey reached into her messy drawers and pulled out a pack of Winter
fresh gum and-
"Oh goody! Rock candy!"
"Can you eat rock candy?" Stacey asked.
"Yeah, and-"
"I know! You can't eat the gum!" Susie had gotten braces in
January. First they were her favorite color(blue) but now they're
green (our soccer team's color).
"Well, my orthidonist would say 'no', but my mom gave me gum
yesterday. So I guess it's okay."
"SUSIE!"
"Hey my mom gave it to me. And I'm careful!"
"If that stuff get's stuck I'm not helping you getting it out!"
Okay?"
"Okay!" The two girls ate and talked for a couple hours, then Susie
was offered to spend the night. She got permission from her parents
and then the girls talked some more.
They talked about some of their favorite groups like Hanson, BSB,
Faceless, Chumbawumba, Forte`. And a group Stacey found called `N Sync. Mariah Carey, Brandy, Monica, Ilona Irvine, and Celine
Dion. (must I go on?!?!?!) They especially talked about Hanson. They
decided to tell each other who each of them liked later that night.
This was gonna be a fun night!
