About the AuthorBorn on a military reservation in New Jersey, Pamela traveled with her parents while her father served over twenty years in the army. Her father was stationed in Anchorage shortly after Alaska statehood.Pamela's favorite sport is basketball. She has aspirations to become a writer. She collects quotations and WWW URL's. Her favorite television show is Star Trek Voyager among others. Reading is a passion. Currently Pamela is reading the life story of Charles Lindbergh. At the pace of two pages a day, it will probably take as long to read the book as he lived. What does she do with her time? She loves talking about Alaska and sharing her knowledge via the world wide web. She edits two newsletters and makes original graphics with Paint Shop Pro 5. Recently she has begun collecting original graphic bears by artist, Mary Wurster. Pamela's current projects include designing webpages, learning to make her own web graphics, and teaching classical piano. In her spare time she edits for the Open Directory Project. During the 24-hour-daylight summers, she likes to garden and has become well known locally for her beautiful hanging baskets. Pamela's family was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany where her brother, George was born. The weather in Germany is much milder than Alaska. Stuttgart was a beautiful area in which to live. During the summer of 2001, Pamela's family traveled to Fort Smith and the original house is still there. Pamela married her husband, Keith, 33 years ago and has two sons, Todd and Curtis. Before she settled into her role as a stay-at-home mother, she worked several years for the Alaska Railroad. Presently they live in Fairbanks, the golden heart of Alaska. .
