There are all together seven members in my family.
Late Kalinath Deka
My father. He worked in Small Industries Service Institute, Guwahati Branch, an Indian Government organization under Ministry of Industries. He took retirement as an Assistant Director from that organization in 1987. He died on 26th March, 1998.
Mrs. Nilima Deka
My mother. She works in Noonmati M.E. School as an Assistant Teacher. She teaches Hindi Language Subject from 5th to 7th standard. Hindi is the National Language of India.
Mrs. Kalpana Deka (Kalita)
My elder sister. She has completed her M.Sc. in Geology from Gauhati University. After that she completed her Ph.D. from Punjab University. Now she working as a part time lecturer in Dibrugarh University. She got married in 1985. She is having one daughter and a son.
Dr. Hem Chandra Kalita
My brother in law. My elder sister got married to him. He is a famous cardiologist of Assam. At present he is working as a Associate Professor of Cardiology Department of Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh, Assam.
Mr. Pankaj Prakash Deka
My elder brother. He did his M.Sc. in geology from Gauhati University. At present he is working as a Scientific Officer in Assam Remote Sensing Agengy, Guwahati, an autonomous body as Government of Assam. He is still unmarried.
Mrs. Ranjana Deka (Pathak)
My younger sister. She has completed her M.Sc. in Home Science from Nagpur University, India. At present she is working as a lecturer in Dakhin Kamrup Girls College. She got married in 1993. She is having one daughter.
Mr. Bishwa Ranjan Pathak
My brother in law. My younger sister got married to him. He is an Electrical Engineer. He is working in Indian Railways.
Mr. Samudra Prakash Deka
My younger brother. He has completed his B.Sc. in Botany from Gauhati University. After graduation he has established his own business farm and maintaining it.
