A page on Dorothy Parker (she was a poet. just look at it, hard to believe she died before the 1970s even started)
A Katherine Kurtz Page

Official Robin McKinley Home Page
I think I may have read some of this stuff before 4th grade, maybe, maybe Robin McKinley and definitely Katherine Kurtz. I couldn't really give you an opinion on Kurtz tho, I've only read two of her books. McKinley is great.
The Lost Mind's Christopher Pike (R. L. Stine is pure crap, Pike has some content)
Like I may or may not have said, of the cheap teen thrillers out there, I find that Stine wrotes crap, I mean, I find it hard to believe that he writes 50 books or whatever, a year. That's about one a week, yeah right. Pike at least has content and he even comes up with plots and does some research too, I believe. His best book that I've read was 'The Starlight Crystal' and don't trust me to have anything spelled right.
The Land of Xanth (Piers Anothony)
I read a lot ot Xanth in the beginning of 7th grade, it's full of puns, very funny, but I think it might have gotten old fast.
Terry Brooks Tribute Site
Terry Brooks is cool, but I read his books so very long ago, I couldn't begin to blather about them like I can about most things. Elves and magic is about all I remember. Landover and Shanarra.
One of many Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Pages
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.. If you haven't read it, you cannot be human, you are doomed, etc, etc. Go check it out from your local library or buy it, NOW!
A page of Katherine Kerr
Katherine Kerr.. read all of her stuff that I could find towards the middle of 7th grade. Fanasty, celctic type magic/place names. Druids, and reincarnation and astral bodies. Great if you're into reincarnation.
The Official C. J. Cherryh Page
C. J. Cherryh, her stuff is pretty good, she writes mostly (as far as I know) sci-fi intergalactic trading ships. I like it, but you don't have too.
A Page on Patricia McKillip (Riddlemaster Trilogy)
Patricia McKillip wrotes wonderful, magical, fairytale sort of stories, stories that make you wonder what alternate dimension does she visit to collect their folklore? I especially like "The Throme of the Erril of Sheril" and another book, but I've lost it, so I couldn't tell you its title. Sorry.
Lots of Anne McCaffery Pages
Valdemar's Heartstone (Mercades Lackey)
Anne McCaffery and Mercades Lackey.. What can I say, I own nearly every McCaffery book there is, as well as a substantial portion of Lackey's books. They were my first introduction into the world of sci-fi and fantasy beyond the young adult section. 'The Rowan' (McCaffery) and "Arrows of the Queen" (Lackey). Both authors have created worlds which have such detail and realism that they have written a series and half about them, each.
