The Fifteenth Angel

Called the "lion of god." Known interchangeably as an angel, a demon, a person, and a city(Jerusalem), this entity has dominion over the winds and has been called "Earth's Great Lord." Whether Arael is a fallen angel or not, he is thought to be in charge of meting out punishment in the lower world.
Arael is very similar to Sahaqiel in that Arael too is capable of maintaining an orbital position outside the enemy's firing range and possesses a single long ranged means of attack. Arael is capable of probing the minds of its victims forcing them to relive past memories best left forgotten, in effect Arael mentally rapes its opponents before eating away at their minds leaving them paralysed as a result of severe brain damage. As with Sahaqiel, Arael's AT field is reasonably strong thus preventing the possibility of taking out the Angel at long range, and so because of this Arael proves to be more than a challenge for NERV and their predominantly land based Eva series.

* Destructrion of 2 or more wings on one side will impare Arael's ability to move, reducing all speeds by half. Destruction of all wings on one side will completely cripple the Angel.
** Destruction of the main body will kill the Angel.
SPEED:
SPACE: Arael generally uses gravitational pull as propulsion in space, however in dire circumstance it can move of it's own accord at up to 500kmph through space.
FLYING: Arael can also fly through and atmosphere at up to 600kmph with limitless altitude (leave Earth's gravity without attaining escape velocity).

NOTES ABOUT ARAEL'S OPERATION
A.T. (ABSOLUTE TERROR) FIELD: The main defensive function on every Angel. Araels A.T. Field is able to deflect up to 800 M.D. (any attack over that does full damage) However it is known, that one A.T. Field can be neutralized, by creating another within a 10m distance, which overlaps and obliterates the phase space, rendering both fields inoperable.
TELEPATHIC ASSAULT: Arael is unique compared to other Angels because it's only method of attack is telepathic assault. This is the first known case where an Angel has been able to interact and understand the human mind. Sufficiently disturbed or angst ridden people are extremely vulnerable to this form of attack. While Arael bombards their minds with painful memories, it slowly breaks down the brain tissue inside the person's head, until they become a lifeless vegetable. Arael can invade a mentally healthy person's mind aswell, and tamper with their senses and emotions in frightening ways. Telepathic assault against a disturbed person requires them to save vs. insanity -4, while attacking a mentally healthy person requires them to save vs. psionics. A failed save means the target is at Arael's complete mercy.
