Shamshel
The Fourth Angel -
Of The Day
This angel, which took the form of a worm-like creature, bears the name of "might sun of god". He rules the 4th heaven, served as a guardian of Eden and is said to be one of the cheif aids of the archangel Uriel. However, some beleive Shamshel is a fallen angel who taught mortals the astrological secrets of the sun.
Only three weeks after the
devastation caused by Sachiel, the Angels' follow up their attack
on Tokyo-3 with their next messenger of death, Shamshel. Shamshel
is solely suited to the role of close combat, and as a result of
this is equipped with two what can only be described as laser
tentacles, and it's these tentacles that Shamshel uses to
savagely dissect opponents with. Shamshel's tentacles are so
powerful that they can even manage to penetrate cleanly through
the torso of an Eva, despite the protection provided by an Eva's
defensive armour. Other than these awesomely powerful laser
tentacles, Shamshel carries no further armament, though the Angel
is
capable of skimming across surfaces in much the same way as
Sachiel. On the downside, however, Shamshel's AT field is as bad
as Sachiel's, though the chance of an opponent scoring any hits
on the Angel what with Shamshel's lethal tentacles flying around
is slim.

* Destruction of the Main Body or Core will kill the Angel. The core is a small and difficult target to strike, requiring a called shot -3 to strike at long range.
** Destroying Shamshel's head will blind him, but not kill him. If this should happen, he will flail about with this laser whips, striking anything within his reach, and will be at -4 to strike, parry, and dodge.
SPEED:
FLYING: Shamshel is able to fly and hover, at a maximum altitude of 1km, and at speeds of up to 100kmph.
STATISTICAL DATA:
LENGTH: Fully stretched out Shamshel is 120m long.
WIDTH: 60m shoulder to shoulder.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Equal to a Robotic P.S. of 200.
POWER SYSTEM: S2 ENGINE. Theoretically can supply power for an indefinate ammount of time.
WEAPON SYSTEMS:
1. CLOSE COMBAT: Shamshel is soley designed for close-combat, he can perform a variety of attacks with his laser whips.
RANGE: The whips have a length of 30m
LASER WHIP GRAB & TOSS: 5d6+10 M.D. from impact
LASER WHIP SLASH: 2d4x10+20 M.D. per strike
LASER WHIP STAB: 1d6x10+10 M.D., can hold the whips in it's target, doing an extra 1d6x10+20 M.D. every action, without rolling another strike.
NOTES ABOUT SHAMSHEL'S OPERATION
Shamshel operates identical to Sachiel in terms of A.T. Field, Bio-Regeneration, and Entering Combat. However he cannot evolve new operations and he has different combat bonuses.
