Reviews Don't just take our word for it:
POPSTARZINE - Jan 2003 The always damn impressive Aurakil stepped up next to hock their wares to a slowly filling room. Another new-ish band, its only a matter of time before the rest of Perth catch onto Aurakil's magic. They are simply brilliant although tonight's set was far from perfect- Gibson guitars, even fake ones, don't bounce! Highlight songs include the dynamic Spineless, Fuzz and Rabid Fair, keep an ear to the ground for a debut release next January. Reviewer - Brett Ladhams ZEBRA HYPE MAGAZINE - Issue 182 "What better venue to launch SLAM's debut visual scrapbook, Video Vault, than arguably Perth's finest original music location, Amplifier Bar. Impressing early was AURAKIL with their confident stage manner and catchy melody based rock. Fronting the Aurakil quartet is the easy on the eyes, big voiced Sharne, who also happens to wield a killer axe. Tracks like the hard rocking Turbulence, a wound-up grunting little number titled Freefall and set highlight Spineless can be found on the foursome's new EP" Reviewer - Brett Ladhams
