The Eleventh House

The 11th house is a very sociable house, the 7th house showed close personal friendships, this house refers to impersonal contacts, how the person relates in groups situations and to society as a whole. It will indicate the kind of society in which the person moves. It will show any interest in clubs or societies. It will show if they are a team player or an individualist. It will describe the individual's social conscience. All group activities are represented here. Therefore a person's response to team sports are shown here. This is also the House in which intellectual pleasures are described.

The questions to ask here are... Does this person like being part of a team? How do they behave in group situations? What sort of people do they get on best with? What sort of affect will impersonal friendships, associates and social acquaintances have on the individual? If they like group situations, what sort of Club or Society would they be attracted to? How do they behave when in group situations? Do they retreat into themselves and watch the louder, more socially confident people to lead? Or do they only really shine when put into a group situation? Do they feel uncomfortable in a crowd or when talking to a groups of more than 2 people? On the other hand perhaps public speaking is their forte.

The opposite House is the 5th, where the 11th is about group activities, team sport, attitudes to groups or crowds, mental games and dreams, the 5th in concerned with personal pleasures and sports in which individuals can shine.
