Astrological Houses
Each house has a 'natural' sign, this is the sign that rules the house by default. The planet associated with that this sign is it's 'natural' ruler.
The sign ruling the house is associated with matters concerning the house. Therefore, a relationship with the siblings, the school life and manner in which someone expresses themselves will not only be the result of the sign on the cusp of 3rd house and the planets therein, but also the condition of both Gemini (3rd house ruler) and Mercury (ruling planet of Gemini and 3rd house). But for now we will just consider the Houses.
The Houses begin with Aries just below the eastern horizon and continue
anti-clockwise around the chart. They govern the various areas of life.
