My great, great, great grandfather, *Samuel² BREEDING was born in Buncombe County, NC on May 2nd, 1799 and died April 14th, 1852 in Morgan County, AL (buried in Breeding Cemetery in Center Springs,AL which was once known as Winton, AL). He married *Tilitha "TILLIE" WINTON. Their children include Lucinda "LUCY", William¹, Sarah, Emaline, Mary, Elizabeth², Samuell³ and Tilith(twins), Lavisa, James, Martha and *John Mason BREEDING.

My great, great grandfather, *John Mason BREEDING was born May 24th, 1845 and died March 4th, 1904. He married *Mary Louisa "POLLY" WHITTON on July 19th, 1865. Their children include Mary ELNA, James DAVID, Clarissa Maximilia "CLARA", Elisabeth Augusta "LIZZIE", Alonzo Festus "LONNIE", Martha Lovellin "MATTIE", Lucious Mason "LUCIUS", Oro Lee "ORA", Edward Darius "ED", Eva Leona "ONA", LAURA Louisa and *Dora EDNA BREEDING.

My great grandmother, *Dora EDNA BREEDING was born January 10th, 1886 and died in Morgan County, AL on March 18th, 1986 (buried Somerville Cemetery, Somerville, Morgan County, AL). She married *Harry FLOYD "FLAD" LYLE January 10th, 1904. She called him "FLAD". They had children to include LEO Andrew, Elbert LEROY, MERTIS Carl, CLEEMON Woodrow, Valerie CLAUDINE, and LOTTIE Bell.

My grandmother, *Valerie CLAUDINE LYLE was born September 08th, 1917. She married first *George Odis "ODE" GRANTLAND on April 26th, 1934. They had children to include Betty ZANE, Shelby JEAN, Glenda SUE, and HAROLD Keith. She divorced Ode. Years and years later, she married second WOODROW STANLEY of Cook County, IL. No children came of this marriage. She divorced him, also.

My mother, *Glenda SUE GRANTLAND, was born December 15th, 1938 in Morgan County, Alabama and died December 11th, 1996 in Evergreen, Conecuh County, Alabama (buried Hartselle Memory Gardens, Hartselle, Morgan County, Alabama). She married first *LONNIE Verne OWEN (born January 26th, 1938 in Morgan County, Alabama to LESTER Bert OWEN & Dorothy DIMPLE FLACK) on April 24th, 1956 in Corinth (Iuka), Tishomingo County, Mississippi. They had two children, *PHYLLIS Jeannae Kwanja OWEN and VONNIE Valeria OWEN. She divorced in 1961 in Morgan County, Alabama. She married second, BILLY Elliott McCUTCHEON (born 05/01/1937 in Morgan County, Alabama to John ELLIOTT McCUTCHEON & RUTH LUKER) on April 23rd, 1963 in Trenton, Dade County, Georgia. They had no children, but did adopt her oldest grandchild, Christopher Billy "KRIS" MERIWETHER, from her youngest daughter, VONNIE, and her first husband, JEFF MERIWETHER. (Kris is now Christopher Billy "KRIS" McCUTCHEON.)

This is the end of this direct bloodline to me.
