So, as you know I came here
from Russia, well, what can I say, Americans don't know too much about
it. Also all this tv stations don't tell the truth about it. In
college, one guy believes that russian are so poor, that they have to stand
an hour to buy bread. He thinks that they drink a hair spray to get drunk.
That's not true. So, a lot of movies show how one
super american soldier can destroy whole military base :). Seems to be
that russians are so stupid.. well, maybe that because of cold war, that
we had in 80s. Basically, people over
there and americans, are pretty much the same, except for that americans
are more open. Life level in the US is higher
as well, but medicine in russia is free, education suppose to be free too,
but there are not so many empty spaces in their universities right now. Russian
high school education system is only 10 years long, in US it is 12. Most of the American people
think that Russia is very cold country, that's not exactly true. There
are some regions with cold climate, like Siberia, and north lands, but
if u goo to south you can find really warm areas. Right now Russia has very difficult
economic condition. There are some "smart" people that trade russian
natural resources like wood and steel, for france perfume and clothes from
popular brands... :). I study in one
of american colleges right now, and I have noticed that math is very simple
here, compared to math in Russia. Program that they have
in colleges is about 8th grade of high school in Russia. I think it's boring, do you? So I am 19 year old,
my dad lives in Russia,
and i hope he will see this page. So I am here since june 1997
and english is not that difficult now. Well thanks for reading, good
