I enjoyed reading your page as I have a son and 
husband who both suffer with AS. My son's life 
is almost like yours, my husband condition is a 
lot worse as he has had to grow up in an 
ordinary way. He was not diagnosed until he was in his 40's.

Hi Kevin.
I am 58 years old. Long time I know that Iam 
obsessive (including hyperlectic) and allways 
found a pretext to avoid professional help.
Some years ago I read an article in a newspaper 
about autism and than begun looking in the 
internet for information. I now believe that I 
have Asperger but I doubt if I shall be 
diagnosed. Many things that Keith Pearson wrote 
about himself could be sayed about me, but I 
wasted my life and did not even rais a family.  
Any how, I like your site and thank you for 
it.

I really enjoyed your website, and I am glad 
you have dealt with your difficulties so well. 
Maybe you can help me find the right direction 
to go in with my 5 year old, who I am having 
very much trouble with. He has so many 
emotional difficulties, gets fixated on certain 
things, like Pokemon and Mario Brothers, has 
mood swings and tantrums, stays off by himself 
a lot, and doesn't want other kids to bother 
him. He's been diagnosed as ADHD and bi-polar, 
or cyclothymic disorder, but I am beginning to 
seriously question this diagnosis. He is so 
very intelligent, it just seems to be going to 
waste. Please help if you can. Thank you!
