Britney Spears, the 19 year old Louisiana native who's talent has been enough to take her to the top. Her first single, 'Baby one more time' debuted at no.1 in countrys all over the world and from then on her success has gone from strength to strength. Yet while Britney's fame has rocketed, rumours have too. In the past year she's been surrounded with rumours about boyband heartthrob 'Justin Timberlake', lip syncing, and.....uh...lets just say surgery. Britney still manages to keep her fans as no.1 and thats what makes her so special, even through controversy over everything from the way she dresses to her relationship with Justin. She's my idol because she's a down to earth and her compassion and love for music never fades, and thats obvious by her showstopping performances.
