Favorite Bad Guys

I enjoyed Basilio and his eps more than the rest of the guest star arcs
partly because the man is a brilliant actor and because Basilio and
those episodes brought back some of the feel of the first season and its
villains. Basilio reminded me in different ways at times of Monastario,
Galindo and Varga (though Varga was nowhere near what he should have
been.)
Basilio, like Monastario and Varga had the fatal flaw of inflated
self-importance and vanity. And the clever amoral ruthlessness of
Monastario and, especially, Galindo. Combined with some of Monastario's
"charm". And the Basilio episodes had some of the best Merry Rogue Zorro
moments. That delicious "devil"......that voice, that graceful
body, that Grin. and what a Ham. :):)
