GWF Members As Zorro Page 3

Our GWF friend Elise, from France sent us pictures of herself as Zorro.
Also, when we asked, she tells us of a personal experience while visiting family in Argentina.

We'll let her share what happened in her own words.


Yes, I did meet Guy!
According to a French newspaper talking about his favorites places like La Recoleta.
By a wonderful coincidence, my uncle lives nearby.
While visiting, I walked through the streets asking around about Guy.
Then one day at a newspaper kiosk, I asked the vendor how Guy was, and he said to me:
"Porque no Le pregunta senorita, ah viene!"
I was completely impressed and watched in the direction the vendor showed me.
I saw a very tall man with a greying mustache dressed in a blue jogging suit coming and the vendor told me it was Guy.
"Hay una senorita que quiere hablar con usted?"
Also, " a senorita, adonde?"
And when he saw me, he kissed me on the cheek. WOW!!
I pretended to be a beginner reporter coming from France and I asked him questions about Zorro, the horses, etc...
But he guessed I was not what I pretended because I did not take notes of what he said.
I said I had an excellent memory.
It amused him and told me "the rules to be a great reporter, talking with one's heart and always saying the truth."
And he said, "when you'll have finished your article, we'll correct it together."
I had his address and so I made an article telling what I felt for him with a letter saying my true identity.
He opened the door and we discussed together and he invited me a few days later to take breakfast with him at a cafe.
It has been my most wonderful memory.
We remained 7 hours together, and he talked about my future.
I was 20 at that time and he wanted me to be a photographic model,
and he wanted me to meet people and get married and have kids.
But after meeting the Great Zorro. . .
It was impossible, my heart belonged only to him!
